Jon Jones’s alleged altercation with a drug tester

Jon Jones is out of action due to a shoulder injury and could be a while before he fights again. Meanwhile, the heavyweight champion recently found himself in the news for the wrong reason. The drug tester went ahead to report the incident to the Albuquerque Police Department, mentioning that Jon Jones was in an inebriated state and even tried to snatch his cell phone away. Law enforcement officials have launched an investigation into the criminal act by the UFC champion as we wait to see what the conclusion of that investigation turns out to be in the days to come.

Is Conor McGregor returning soon?

Dana White recently sent the UFC world into a frenzy after he shared a story on his Instagram account, teasing the eventual return of Conor McGregor. As per his social media post, ‘The Notorious is “Coming soon” back in action. Moreover, McGregor confirmed that tease from the UFC CEO and shared a post with the same caption on his Instagram handle as well.

After being away from the drug testing program for over two years, Conor McGregor has now become the most tested UFC athlete in 2024 so far. He has been updating his fans about his drug tests on his socials from time to time recently. With Dana White’s indication and McGregor backing his claim, it seems like the ‘Mac’s return is more certain than ever.

Joe Rogan doesn’t think age will be a hindrance for Mike Tyson

Many combat sports fans have expressed their concern for Mike Tyson’s well-being ahead of the Jake Paul fight on July 20. Given that he’s in his late 50s, people found it shocking that ‘Iron’ decided to make his return against a much younger opponent. Regardless, Joe Rogan does not believe that Tyson would face any hurdles due to his age, especially because of the way he’s been training at 57 years old for his boxing return.

“Yes, he’s 57 years old, he’ll be 58 when they fight… He’s also doing this very unique kind of training with electrical muscular stimulation… it has massive benefits of rehabilitating injuries, and also for a lot of people, gives them significant gains when they use it as opposed to just using weight lifting…you don’t lose that much ability,” said Rogan during a recent episode of the JRE podcast. While Mike Tyson was the most ferocious fighter during his younger years, it remains to be seen if he can reignite that attitude against Jake Paul and possibly end the YouTuber’s boxing endeavor.
