‘The Predator’ has been the talk of the combat sports community after his impressive performance against Tyson Fury. He recently appeared on ‘The MMA Hour’ where he addressed questions regarding how Dana White might have felt after his boxing match. However, Ngannou did seem to care too much about what the UFC CEO had to say.

“Who cares? Dana White feels like Dana White feels,” said Francis Ngannou. He also mentioned that the 54-year-old promoter exerts a lot of power on his UFC roster, calling the fighters “puppets.” However, he refrains from getting manipulated by other people.

“Dana White has the power over a lot of fighters… It costs a lot to stand up and say what you think and some people just make themselves a puppet. It’s okay but I can’t be anybody’s puppet. I am too big for that. I am too proud for that,” said ‘The Predator’. We will have to wait and see what lies ahead of Francis Ngannou after his impressive boxing debut.

Jon Jones reveals his thoughts on Ngannou’s boxing debut

The UFC heavyweight champion recently shared a tweet in response to a fan asking him about his thoughts on Francis Ngannou’s boxing debut. Even though Jon Jones and ‘The Predator’ had a heated face-off a few months ago, ‘Bones’ appeared to have some words of praise for his rival. He commended Ngannou for his impressive showing in a competitive fight.

“I thought he did great, I’m glad the fight was competitive,” said Jon Jones. Furthermore, ‘Bones’ also mentioned that Francis Ngannou’s narrow loss to Tyson Fury has created many opportunities for other MMA fighters in the sport of boxing. He added, “Opens so many doors for everyone in the future.” It remains to be seen if Jones follows the same path and makes his mark in boxing as well.

Former UFC star and MMA icon Nate Diaz suffered a loss against Jake Paul a few months back. However, after the boxing match, ‘The Problem Child’ offered him a rematch in an MMA fight. But the offer was exclusively meant to be a fight in the PFL. Nonetheless, the Stockton native decided to turn down that offer and has called for a boxing rematch in December.

Concerning this situation, PFL’s founder Donn Davis took a dig at Nate Diaz. He mentioned how despite Jake Paul offering him millions of dollars to fight him in his promotion, the former UFC star seems to have gone into hiding. “He’s got a standing offer between $10 and $15 million [to fight Jake Paul] and he’s hiding behind a rock,” said Davis. It remains to be seen how the Stockton native will respond to these claims and if we’ll ever see him fight Paul in an MMA fight.
