‘The Notorious’ recently shared a few voice clips on social media claiming that his UFC return in December may not happen. He had already laid out his plans to fight Michael Chandler, Justin Gaethje, and Nate Diaz in the future. However, his exclusion from the USADA’s testing pool has made it difficult for him to make his comeback later this year.

Expressing his frustration over the situation, the Irishman even sent a plea to the CEO of Endeavor, Ari Emanuel. Endeavor is the parent company of the UFC which means it is the owner of the UFC promotion. McGregor mentioned that MMA is his livelihood, and he wishes to return in December. He said, “Please God, someone. Ari, Ari, my man. I am ready, yeah? December 16th.”

Meanwhile, even though Conor McGregor hasn’t been able to fight inside the Octagon, he stated that he’ll continue to do what he’s been doing since being out of action. The Irishman claims to be in a good spot, but he’s craving to get back to fighting again.

Dana White thinks Chris Weidman should retire

Chris Weidman failed to emerge victorious on his long-awaited return to the Octagon at UFC 292. His opponent, Brad Tavares, grabbed a unanimous decision victory while hitting with some of the most impactful leg kicks at ‘The All-American’. Weidman found himself bound to a wheelchair after the fight, which sparked concern among fans and even UFC president Dana White.

During the post-fight press conference, the 54-year-old promoter mentioned that he loves Chris Weidman and his family. He mentioned the damage he took on his knee during the fight. Dana White said, “Depending on the damage to the knee, you’re talking another year. So I would say Chris, I love you. Please, please retire.” We will have to wait and see what decision Weidman takes after the loss in his comeback fight.

Sean O’Malley and Ryan Garcia get into a heated back and forth

‘Suga’ Sean O’Malley shocked the world after knocking out Aljamain Sterling in the second round to win his first-ever UFC championship. Moreover, he even grabbed the ‘Performance of the Night’ honor for the finish. On the other hand, O’Malley had mentioned several times that he’s interested in getting inside the squared circle and going head-to-head with some of the best boxers. However, that did not impress former WBC interim light champion Ryan Garcia.

Garcia claimed that boxing and MMA are two entirely different sports. So getting inside the squared circle may just get O’Malley knocked out. However, the bantamweight champion didn’t hesitate to respond and mentioned about Garcia’s knockout loss to Gervonta Davis.
