Former UFC champion Francis Ngannou parted ways with UFC after his contractual negotiation hit a roadblock as his demands proved inconsistent with the promotion’s leash. The heavyweight fighter and the promotion could never resolve their issues while the MMA world awaited the Ngannou-Jones fight in December. After the lengthy negotiations failed, the Cameroonian fighter weighed his options and gladly accepted his free agent label. Since then, the fearsome knockout artist is exploring his options outside the Octagon. And rumors of him realizing his boxing dream have gained traction. Moreover, ‘The Predator’ also dropped a list of 3 possible opponents and left the decision up to the public.

While one of them, former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, resonated back with the intention of fighting the former UFC personnel, another remote possibility involving Tyson Fury couldn’t be discarded either. Notably, ‘The Gypsy King’ might face the MMA fighter if the fight against Oleksandr Usyk doesn’t materialize. A potential mouthwatering fight between the two formidable heavyweights might go either way, as expressed by legendary Mike Tyson.
