Francis Ngannou is a powerhouse fighter, however, transitioning to boxing couldn’t be an easy feat. However, with a coach like Dewey Cooper in his corner, Ngannou is ready to tear things apart. With the boxing gloves on, ‘The Predator’ is still unfazed thanks to his cornermen and coaches. So who is Cooper?
The former kickboxer is a brilliant coach who’s taking Ngannou through the waters of the boxing world. Of course, Mike Tyson is also there to help the fighter out. However, Tyson’s role is somewhat limited. Cooper has been training Ngannou for much longer now. So where does he come from?

Cooper is an American former kickboxer and boxer who was born in Los Angeles. He would go on to compete in the WKC and the WKF in the heavyweight and cruiserweight divisions respectively, primarily in kickboxing championships. He would thus go on to become a two-time world champion.
Starting Muay Thai at a tender age, Cooper soon knew that he wanted to keep his career aligned with the sport. He would later go on to get himself an undefeated record between 2001-2004 in boxing. He also fought in Muay Thai Superfight in Thailand and lost in 2013.
Being a K-1 Grand Prix finalist and an accomplished boxer is enough credit for Cooper to train Ngannou. He has been involved with the MMA world ever since he started fighting and is yet to step back. The 48-year-old is certain that he and Ngannou are going to cause a major upset against Fury.
In his own words, Cooper said “we’re here to shock the world,” in a recent conversation. Clearly, he and Mike Tyson are gearing up Ngannou to take down Tyson Fury. Ngannou has put out several training videos where Tyson can be seen instructing him on how to throw punches. Will this be enough for him to win?
