‘The Problem Child’ recently appeared in a ‘Finish the Sentence’ video posted on ‘DAZN Boxing’s YouTube channel to promote his upcoming fight against Andre August. There, one of the sentences he had to complete was to give his thoughts on how a boxing match against Conor McGregor would go down. Apart from the fact that Jake Paul thinks it will be a big fight, he appeared to be confident about the fact that he would defeat the Irishman if they ever locked horns inside the squared circle.

“A fight between me and McGregor would be pretty f***ing massive and entertaining and fun,” said Jake Paul. However, he doesn’t think that Conor McGregor would accept to fight him. Paul added, “I would beat his a**. He won’t fight me.” The YouTuber-turned-boxer even went as far as to throw shade at ‘The Notorious’s popularity in the combat sports world.

Paul compared his stardom to McGregor’s

There is no doubt that people do talk about Jake Paul and his venture into boxing. This has led ‘The Problem Child’ to believe that he has overtaken Conor McGregor in terms of popularity in combat sports, especially boxing. He said, “At this point, it’s funny how it went from me calling him out to that seeming crazy to now me being bigger in the sport than he is.”

Jake Paul even went on to claim that he possesses superior boxing skills compared to Conor McGregor, who once went toe-to-toe against arguably the greatest boxer of all time, Floyd Mayweather. Him knowing my skill level is greater than his in such a short amount of time, life’s crazy,” the 26-year-old added.

Besides, McGregor is now looking forward to his UFC comeback after entering the USADA’s testing pool. Meanwhile, Paul is gearing up for a fight against yet another professional boxer who has more knockouts than him.
