Logan Paul Suspected of Avoiding Payment, Just Like His Brother Jake Paul Did for Tommy Fury Fight, Discloses Back Up for Dillon Danis, Mike Perry

Probably one of the dirtiest beef in recent memory has to have been the one between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis, who is a friend of Conor McGregor. The two will fight on 14 October at the Manchester Arena. However, it seems there is another fighter in the mix who has expressed his concerns.

BKFC fighter Mike Perry is going to be serving as a replacement fighter for Dillon Danis against Logan Paul, in case Danis pulls out of the fight last minute. This is something that is quite common in the fight circle because fighters generally sustain injuries and have to pull out of fight cards. However, Perry feels Logan would do the same thing as his brother Jake Paul did. And his concerns are justified.

Mike Perry fears he won’t be paid

Mike Perry is once again the backup fighter for one of the Paul brothers. When Jake Paul was supposed to fight Tommy Fury, the bout had to be called off a number of times owing to injuries that Fury sustained. Perry was flown in as the backup fighter. However, Perry didn’t get his time in the ring. Team Paul didn’t pay him either.

Now, it seems Logan Paul has nominated Mike Perry as the backup fighter in case Dillon Danis pulls out of his fight. Perry has openly admitted that he thinks that Logan Paul might end up doing the same thing as his younger brother did. In an interview with MMA Fighting on YouTube, Perry openly addressed his concerns.

“You know Jake used my name as the backup fighter for him and Tommy… um, but then he didn’t use me, he didn’t pay me, and – and I believe that Logan is going to do those things because they flew me out – that wasn’t for nothing,” stated the BKFC fighter.

He didn’t hold back. “I keep it professional. I mean I am a professional. I’m not – I’m not green up on stage just asking for attention. It’s like I do this for real. And it’s when the ref says fight and s**t changes but until that point it’s like… it’s all speculation. It’s like I’m just standing around,” he said. 

Why does Logan Paul fear that Dillon Danis will back out?

Dillon Danis started an online ‘war of words’ with Logan Paul ahead of their fight. It turned really ugly as Danis started dragging Paul’s fiancee Nina Agdal into the equation and dragging her reputation through the mud. Agdal, who is an internet sensation and a successful Danish model, had her entire dating history exposed by Danis. He proceeded to share pictures of Agdal with her ex-boyfriends and partners, with the intent of rattling Paul ahead of their clash.

The beef turned really ugly as Danis kept firing shots at the pair and even proceeded to call her names that were ‘abusive’. In the end, Logan Paul called out Dillon Danis, and the two finally faced off. During this face-off, Paul faked a bottle throw that caused Danis to flinch. Paul event sent a cease and desist notice to Danis.

But now, it seems the verbal beef is finally coming to an end, as the fight is drawing near. Now, the fight community is buzzing with rumors that Danis might not actually show up for the fight. In that case, will Mike Perry get what he has been waiting for? Will Danis actually show up? And in case he does, will Paul compensate him properly?
