Is Conor McGregor's decision to fire Mike Perry justified, or just a knee-jerk reaction to Jake Paul's win?

Conor McGregor always likes to stay in the limelight for one thing or the other and this time it is because he fired Mike Perry! Yes, he fired the welterweight star after his bout with Jake Paul on Saturday night. It was a perfect demolition by Jake Paul as he KO-ed Perry in the 6th round. He was being brutalized by jabs, punches, and uppercuts zapping through the air.

The former Disney star stuck to the fundamentals of boxing and did not crack under Perry’s pressure. Due to the dismal performance the ‘King of Violence’ was fired by McGregor but Jake Paul was also not spared criticism from the same star. On top of that, Logan Paul was not silent about it and chastised the former dual-weight champion on camera. The whole ordeal is pretty chaotic so let’s take a look at the latest developments of this incident.

The interviewer asked what Logan Paul felt about McGregor’s tweets about him and his brother and the firing of Perry. He replied, “What a dic*head. That’s such a that’s like, when he is winning he (McGregor) wants to stay by his side. When he is losing he just drops him like come on bro. Come on be a good leader. Like sh** happens. Jake’s tough, Conor, admit it. Admit it, Jake’s tough bro.”

Meanwhile, Jake Paul had been incessantly challenging Conor McGregor to step into the boxing ring for some time now. However, after Jake Paul’s fight with Mike Perry, ‘The Notorious’ went on a tirade on social media unleashing a tide of insults at ‘The Problem  Child.’ He also insisted that Paul was using PEDs and avoiding real testing.

In a now-deleted Tweet McGregor said, “Hey Mike you’re released and you can go and compete in your smelly dirty boxing championship thing, the smell of it, good luck, You’re fired.” Despite the setback, Mike Perry showed sportsmanship and praised Paul’s performance.  ‘Platinum’ suffered a crushing 6th-round loss in the fight. However, he decided to respond to McGregor and his opponent Jake Paul was not silent either.

Mike Perry and Jake Paul respond to McGregor’s scathing remarks

‘Platinum’ was roped in at the last moment for the fight as Tyson suffered an ulcer flare during his flight. Perry stated in the post-fight presser that he cannot be fired by the UFC star.  He claimed to be an owner of BKFC and challenged McGregor to face Paul. “We’re both owners of BKFC so he can’t fire me,” he said.

However, McGregor again added in his series of deleted Tweets and mentioned how Perry was not an owner of BKFC. He said that Perry did not own “an iota” of the company and mentioned Perry’s share in ‘Triller’ which is a social media video app. McGregor not only insulted Perry but left some of it for Jake Paul as well.

And I put that on my momma,” he said confidently.

Perry also fought hard against the insults and subtly announced the launch of his Tequila brand along with it. He compared McGregor’s whiskey brand and said his company would fare better.
