The older Paul brother mentioned that his brother really wants to help UFC fighters get their due. It is not something that Jake Paul throws in the air to garner attention. Rather, he really wants to work for the athletes’ betterment. “The fighter pay issue, it’s all real. It’s 100 percent real. He [Jake Paul] really cares,” Logan Paul told ‘Sports Illustrated’.
He further mentioned that Jake Paul understands the position he’s in. Seeing that, he wants to make an impact on the sport of MMA. The most important way he can contribute to the sport is by focusing on the issue of fighter pay. ‘The Maverick’ added, “He, as an innovator, understands that he can have a real, long-lasting impact in this sport, beyond just his own legacy, if he points his finger at the fighter pay issue.” Logan Paul also revealed the reason for his brother is targeting UFC president Dana White.
Dana White is the perfect target for ‘The Problem Child’
During the interview, Logan Paul mentioned that it is important for a campaign to have a target for its success. Incidentally, Jake Paul chose to point his finger at UFC president Dana White. He said, “Now the person he happens to be pointing his finger at, at the moment, is Dana White, which in general, if you’re going to lead a campaign against, it’s good to have a target.”
Furthermore, ‘The Maverick’ spoke about the advantages of going after Dana White. He believes that it gives Jake Paul and his associates the required goal and motivation to succeed in their campaign. Logan Paul said, “[Choosing Dana White as the target] gives him ammunition and his troops something or perhaps someone to rally around.”

Jake Paul didn’t work his way as a professional athlete. He was a YouTuber, a social media influencer, and a Disney star. He grew in his career as an entertainer. However, when he shifted his focus to boxing and combat sports, ‘The Problem Child’ understood that he had to give something in return. This is where the UFC fighter pay comes into play since he wishes to do MMA in the future as well. “He really wants to make a difference in the sport that he’s participating in, beyond just his legacy as an athlete in that sport,” said Logan Paul.
