KSI, the YouTuber-turned-boxer, took to X last month, writing, “Not rumored. I am very down,” to express his interest in a showdown with UFC megastar Conor McGregor. This statement created a lot of hubbub amid speculation of the Irishman facing Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition of their own. However, rumors suggested that Logan might withdraw due to his WWE commitments. Moreover, McGregor himself confirmed the UFC’s unwillingness to let the bout go down.

Ultimately, the fight never came to fruition, and nearly a month later, neither KSI nor Logan Paul appears to be the Irishman’s next opponent. Despite that, KSI now has a confirmed fight on the horizon. Misfits Boxing recently announced that he will face MMA fighter and grappler Dillon Danis on March 29 at the AO Arena in Manchester at 185lbs. KSI confirmed the matchup on X, stating, “When I found out I had the opportunity to fight him, I had to take it up. I finally get my payback for what he did to me at Misfits 3. That double-guard BS won’t work with me pu–y. See you soon.”

KSI and Dillon Danis have had a heated rivalry since MF & DAZN: X Series 003 in 2022, where tensions nearly erupted into a physical altercation. Their feud escalated into a scheduled bout in January 2023 at Wembley Arena in London as part of X Series 004. However, just days before the fight, Danis withdrew, citing that he was “underprepared.”

His sudden exit left their grudge unsettled, leading to Thomas Oliveira stepping in as a last-minute replacement. KSI successfully defended his MF cruiserweight title, knocking Oliveira out in the first round. Following that victory, KSI continued his boxing journey, taking on businessman and professional boxer Joe Fournier. However, Tommy Fury, Tyson Fury’s younger brother, ended his impressive 2023 winning streak.

Last month at the Co-op Arena, KSI confronted former England footballer Wayne Bridge after the main card event, which featured a crossover boxing match between former UFC fighter Darren Till and Anthony Taylor. A few days later, the 44-year-old withdrew from the fight, citing KSI’s insult as the reason for pulling out of their scheduled Misfits Boxing 21 matchup. Addressing his withdrawal on Instagram, Bridge explained: “I was fully expecting to train hard and have some fun. Of course, I was expecting some criticism, but I feel like what was said on Saturday crossed a line….I’m a family man first, and my priority is protecting them. My opponent is someone that many children look up to around the world, including my kids…I will no longer be fighting on March 29. I’m still looking out for my next big challenge and have some exciting things coming up in 2025.”
