Jorge Masvidal Brings the Hammer Down on Jake Paul for ‘Talking About Paying Fighters’

Jake Paul is being a prime advocate of fighters’ pay. Moreover, he has specifically focused on the area of MMA and targeted the UFC and Dana White in that regard. The YouTuber-turned-Boxer has also made enemies inside the UFC regarding these issues. Moreover, one such personality would be Jorge Masvidal. The UFC welterweight is being challenged by ‘The Problem Child’ on social media for weeks. Furthermore, the UFC fighter has not spoken much regarding these issues of Jake Paul.

However, this time Masvidal has broken his silence and has thrashed the controversial boxer in an interview with Ariel Helwani.

Jorge Masvidal rants against Jake Paul

Jorge Masvidal was recently present in The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani. The UFC BMF champion went on a rant against YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul. During the conversation with Ariel Helwani, ‘Gamebred’ said, “This motherf*****g Jake Paul talking about paying fighters. Shut the f*ck up.”

Furthermore, speaking about fighter’s pay, The UFC welterweight added, “When everybody sees what the f*ck the card bill is. The whole card, from top to bottom. I f*****g pay fighters. Me and my promotion pay fighters. My brothers and sisters they can go earn a paycheck kick a** and do what the f**k they do alright…”

The UFC middleweight was in a relentless mood as he thrashed the 26-year-old in the interview. Masvidal continued, “All this other bullsh*t and talk and this and that. Jake Paul motherf****r all these other boxing promoters, how about they put motherf*****g money in MMA fighters’ pockets or boxers or get the f*ck outta here. I’m putting money in my brothers and sister’s pockets so they go out there and give the violence that we all get to see. “

Masvidal seemed to have had it listening to Jake Paul‘s comments over the past months regarding fighters’ pay. Moreover, ‘Gamebred’ also had a message for the viewers. He invited viewers and fans to watch his fight filled with “violence and technique” against Gilbert Burns at UFC 287.

Masvidal also added that UFC President Dana White is ‘the greatest thing to happen to the combat sports’. The UFC welterweight was all praises for the UFC boss as he continued to bash Jake Paul over the same issue.

Jake Paul had previously challenged Jorge Masvidal

The controversial boxer had challenged ‘Gamebred’ in an MMA fight. Paul said, “I will immediately retire from boxing and fight Jorge Masvidal in the UFC…” 

‘The Problem Child’ also kept a condition in place for the fight to happen. Jake Paul demanded that Dana White must meet certain conditions regarding the fighter’s pay.

This back-and-forth between Paul and Masvidal seems to be growing. However, there is no end in sight. It remains to be seen what happens further in the story.
