There are very few fighters in the history of boxing who had the aura of Mike Tyson. The former heavyweight champion was known for his lethal knockouts and raw strength in his prime years. In a clip from episode #2148 of JRE on YouTube, Rogan and his guest analyzed one of Tyson’s fights. While watching the clip, Rogan said, “I never saw anybody who looked like Mike Tyson in his prime. I think it just you can’t maintain the kind of focus that was required to be this guy. Marvis(Joe Frazier) was a good fighter, but this is just a terrifying mismatch. They can always emerge.”

However, when talking about his upcoming fight, the JRE host mentioned that the 27-year-old was the favorite. According to Rogan, the former social media influencer is a legitimate boxer and can cause serious damage. But he did remind the world that Tyson has yet to lose all the power and cause an upset.

He said, “Jake Paul’s favorite, he’s 27 years old, and he’s a really good boxer. Like he is a legitimate professional boxer. He fought Tommy Fury, who’s also a legitimate professional boxer. A real good one. He’s Tyson Fury’s younger brother. And he lost a close decision. But it was a good fight.”

Mike Tyson’s raw meat diet has Joe Rogan surprised

At 57, many felt Mike Tyson had taken a wrong decision when he decided to face Jake Paul. The pair has a massive 30-year age gap between them, which might be a deciding factor in the battle. However, it seems ‘Iron’ is willing to go the distance in his next fight. Despite being an exhibition match against a former YouTuber, ‘Iron’ is not taking it easy.

In his recent interview on ‘The Damon Elliott show” the 57-year-old revealed his diet plan which caught the attention of the JRE host. Rogan said, “Mike Tyson’s mind has switched over to war. Like he was doing this interview and someone says to him, he goes, ‘You look like you’re in your 20s. What are you doing?’ He [Tyson] goes, ‘I just eat raw meat… He goes, ‘Because that’s what I’m going to eat when I fight.”

Rogan strongly believes that if Tyson gets proper supplements and recovers well, ‘The Problem Child’ may not stand a chance. The 57-year-old’s latest training clips does show that he is in fighting shape and could very well cause an upset. Many experts have already ruled out Mike Tyson from his upcoming fight mainly because of his age. ‘ The Problem Child’ possesses some fantastic striking skills he has displayed in his previous fights. However, if ‘Iron’ lands one of those heavy strikes, he might just end the winning run of the social media influencer.
