Conor McGregor vs. Jake Paul—who's the real villain in this steroid saga?

Jake Paul caught the entire world’s attention as he defeated Mike Perry via a TKO. However, things took a bitter turn for the YouTuber-turned-professional boxer when he called out the undisputed UFC LHW champ, Alex Pereira, after the fight. The size difference between them is as much as between cruiserweight and light heavyweight. Needless to say, the big guns at the UFC weren’t quite happy about the callout.

Right after ‘The Problem Child’ announced his desire to fight ‘Poatan’, Conor McGregor took to X and sent a bashing towards Paul, for not calling out someone his own size. He also made some allegations that the boxer was on ste***s. Like he always does, ‘The Notorious’ took to X and in his wrath, pointed out that Paul was “juiced out of his head”. Soon after the tweet went viral, Michael Bisping took to his talk show and sided with the ‘Mystic Mac’.

Bisping claimed that Paul’s fighting was pretty wild and reckless, and not in a good way. According to him, ‘The Problem Child’ would have faced a lot of trouble had he gone against a fighter of the same size, build, and power. But Paul seemingly crossed the line when he called out ‘Poatan’. He believed that it was a fight that would never materialize. But Paul didn’t stop there. He proceeded to call out Mike Tyson. Paul and Tyson were initially scheduled to fight each other, but the former HW champ’s ulcer flare-up forced him to withdraw. Without a doubt, the fighting community was already worried about Tyson’s age (58YO) and health.

‘The Count’ then said, “I still don’t have respect because that was pure bully-boy tactics. The size difference was remarkable.” Thereafter, the former UFC middleweight champion quoted McGregor. “Jake Paul is the biggest p***bag I have ever seen in my life.” He then opined to what he thought was the reason why Paul seldom went against fighters of his own weight class and age. “Because they would all smoke him,” Bisping sternly said.

Did you think Bisping forgot about the st***id abuse allegations that McGregor made? Well, that’s what he tackled next. He continued, “McGregor is talking about ste***s. He looked very, very red. Maybe he was sunburned, maybe he was outside. Yeah. Beating Mike Perry. He beat him. Well done! Congratulations! And then to call out Alex Pereira? That’s definitely not gonna happen. And then in the same breath, continue to call out Mike Tyson, 58 years old. It is absolutely laughable!”

Have an interesting take?

If you thought Paul was the only one to face McGregor’s wrath, you’re in for a treat. Well, he also targeted ‘Platinum’ in one of his tweets. Let’s see what the former UFC double champion had to say.

‘The Notorious’ fires Mike Perry over a TKO defeat

Perry, during his fight against Paul, was unable to defend himself against his opponent’s strong blows. In the 6th round, ‘The Problem Child’ sent forth a heavy hit that disoriented ‘Platinum’ and the ref had to conclude the bout. This was not taken well by McGregor, and he executed the power of ownership. Well, being a part owner of the fighting promotion sure comes with some executive powers. He went on X and fired Perry from BKFC. He wrote, “Hey Mike youre released and you can go and compete in your smelly dirty boxing championship thing, the smell of it, good luck. You’re fired”.

But Perry wasn’t one to stay quiet, and lashed back, claiming that he and Conor  McGregor were both part owners of BKFC. This meant that Perry had as much power as the Irishman over the promotion. To add the cherry on top, he even extended a challenge for McGregor to fight Paul with gloves on. Despite the heat between the two, it was Paul’s callout that attracted more attention.

No doubt, Pereira is one of the strongest strikers in the UFC. Dubbed as the man with hands of stone, he clearly lives up to his fame with his left hook. After Paul and Pereira exchanged a few words on Facetime, the fight might just materialize. After all, it was one of the rare moments when ‘Poatan’ blurted out English. “Chama! Let’s go my guy,” the UFC champ had said. But now, with Bisping joining forces with McGregor to lash out at Paul’s alleged st***dal abuse and unrealistic callouts, a new drama has emerged in the realm of combat sports.
