Mike Tyson decided to go up in arms against Jake Paul and it was as if the whole world began talking about it. And why shouldn’t they? Mike Tyson will be 58 years old when he locks horns with Jake Paul in the boxing ring. Paul, on the other hand, is only 27.
The age difference is massive and everyone can see it. Many fans have called Paul out for challenging a legend who is far past his prime. The last time Tyson fought was for an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr which ended in a split draw. Is this a lose-lose situation for Paul? Here’s what this UFC veteran has to say about it.

Mike Tyson is one of the most loved athlete of all time. Jake Paul may have his fans but the court of public opinion may have reached a verdict if Chael Sonnen is to be believed. Sonnen recently analyzed the whole situation on his famous YouTube channel.
Here, ‘The American Gangster’ weighed the pros and cons of Jake Paul actually going in and fighting Tyson. Many believe that Tyson is just too old to be fighting at all and that too against someone as young as Paul who has only fought 10 times in the ring.
“we let him (Paul) know that if you beat up said geriatric (Tyson) not only do you not get credit, we’re going to be mad at you because we all like Mike Tyson.” Said Sonnen. “You’ve got a double lose situation. You lose we all out and tease you and tell you you’re terrible, you win, we hate you because we like him. . .”
Clearly, the situation does not favor Paul in the slightest but it looks like he doesn’t care much. The Youtuber-turned-prizefighter is very well known for profiting from the hate he gets from fans of combat sports in general. So, when is he fighting the legend?
