Conor McGregor vs. Jake Paul has taken an exciting turn. But before ‘The Problem Child’ was in the discussions, ‘The Notorious’ teased the fighting community about a fight between him and Logan Paul. He declared that he was already in talks with the Ambani family to share the squared ring with the older Paul brother. “I have agreed,” was what the ‘Mystic Mac’ wrote before announcing that he would box before returning to the Octagon. Many, including Javier Mendez of AKA, thought McGregor had chosen the wrong Paul brother. But that error seems to have been corrected.

Logan Paul has yet to make himself famous in the martial arts realm as his younger brother has. But that doesn’t mean he never really fought. His last boxing bout was in 2023 against Dillon Danis, McGregor’s teammate. But his victory was a bit controversial because he won via disqualification. But when he was seemingly all set to make a name for himself against the former UFC double champion, his younger brother has seemingly snubbed him and secured the bout.

Well, that’s what ESPN’s famed reporter, Salvador Rodriguez had to convey. Taking to X, the fight reporter put up pictures of ‘The Problem Child’ and the ‘Mystic Mac’, and wrote, “Sources: Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor on the table for july, august or september 2025 in India.” And McGregor has put forth just 3 letters regarding the matchup. “TKO.”

The recent piece of information seemed to have fixed the jigsaw with the timing. Dana White had previously pointed out that Conor McGregor would return sometime in late 2025. Now, it all adds up, since the Irish mixed martial artist would be busy fighting Paul in India. But did you know that there was a time when Jake Paul lashed out at McGregor for choosing to fight his older brother? Let’s find out!

Jake Paul reveals the truth about Conor McGregor and his team

Following the initial teaser regarding a bout between Logan Paul and McGregor, Jake Paul took to X and quoted, “Now it all makes sense why Conor Mcgregor & his management team have been desperately trying to get MVP to negotiate for a fight between us. As we told them them privately & I’m now saying it publicly…the only way we’re willing to explore me vs Conor in a pro boxing / mma fight is if Dana White / UFC are at the table directly or make it clear they are ok with discussions.”

What’s your perspective on:

Is Jake Paul the right choice for McGregor, or should he have stuck with Logan?

Have an interesting take?

The YouTuber-turned-professional boxer didn’t back down from dissing McGregor. He continued, “Conor is washed. Needs the Paul’s. Logan by however he wants.” But it seems like the younger Paul wanted ‘The Notorious’ all for himself. Needless to say, it would be pretty interesting to watch what happens in the ring.
