Is Jake Paul just a master of deception, or is there some truth to his claims?

Jake Paul put on a show for the fans on Saturday when he took on Mike Perry in a boxing fight. Paul was clearly the better fighter on the night as he dropped ‘Platinum’ thrice in the fight. The fight eventually ended with ‘The Problem Child’ knocking out Perry in the sixth round. However, what followed surprised most of the fans in the arena. Jake Paul called out current light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira for a boxing clash and even face-timed the Brazilian. However, former UFC champion Michael Bisping feels the fight is never going to happen in the future. ‘The Count’ took to his YouTube channel to discuss the event.

Jake Paul is bluffing about the Alex Pereira fight, feels UFC insider

Jake Paul was previously scheduled to take on boxing legend Mike Tyson on July 20. However, the 58-year-old withdrew from the fight because of health reasons. The fight will now take place on November 15 but it seems Paul already has his eyes set on Alex Pereira. The 27-year-old offered the Brazilian a fight after his famous clash with Mike Tyson. However, Bisping doesn’t quite agree with the call out. On his YouTube channel, the former champion said, “Calling out Alex Pereira he knows full well the fight can’t happen.”

Bisping further added that Paul is once again bluffing the fight as most of his fans feel he wants to take on new challenges. “But his fan base the young little YouTuber guys. Those people looking they’re like oh he’s calling out Alex Pereira wow. This man’s insane. He wants the toughest challenges. No Jake Paul is selling you a lie once again. Because he knows the fight cannot actually happen. They face-timed that had to have been organized beforehand because no one just accidentally facetimes Alex Pereira and he picks up. “

Pereira is still under the contract of the UFC and is due to defend his title in the future. ‘Poatan’ is definitely one of the hardest punchers the sport has ever seen. His recent performances inside the Octagon is a proof of that. However, the fight can only happen if UFC CEO Dana White wants it. Former welterweight fighter Tyron Woodley also feels Paul has sent a message to White and not Pereira.

Dave Schmulenson popularly known as ‘The Schmo’ interviewed a few big names after the fight at Amalie Arena. One such name was former welterweight fighter Tyron Woodley. Paul’s KO victory impressed most of them out there but his call out to Pereira was the biggest attraction. When asked about the incident, Woodley made it clear that it was done mainly for White. “I mean, I think it was more so of a Dana callout, you know,” Woodley said.

He know that only Dana can make that happen. So, if he’s calling out and he wants it and Pereira wants it, we seen him on Facetime, it’s up to Dana to make this fight happen. So, I think it was more of that than it was anything else,” Woodley further added, emphasizing that only White could make the fight happen as the Brazilian was still in contract with the UFC.

The Brazilian also took to his Instagram account to share a video of him facetiming Paul and said, “Chama! Let’s go my guy.” However, it all comes down to whether the UFC CEO allows the fight to happen. What do you feel about the claims made by Michael Bisping?
