The fight fans on social media were sent into a frenzy recently when Conor McGregor caught up with the Paul brothers. Jake and Logan, along with ‘The Notorious’, were invited to Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony, and the trio even shared a few snaps from the event at the Capitol Building. However, it seems like the truce is over as Jake Paul is back and putting McGregor on blast.

When Jake Paul met the Irishman, they started talking about their potential boxing match. He’d sum up the conversation with a threat to the two siblings and even the British YouTube star, KSI, with whom he’s been linked for a boxing match as well. “I’m going to slap the head off the two of you and KSI,” the Dubliner threatened. Unexpectedly, it rubbed the Most Valuable Promotions owner the wrong way.

“My guy…you are a total clown. You don’t control your own career. The conductor conducts what you do and don’t do, and you bow and say thank you for the payment sir,” Jake Paul tweeted while highlighting the crippling nature of Conor McGregor’s contract with the UFC.

‘The Notorious’ also took a dig at the Paul brothers’ faces when he claimed that fighting them was just like “side jobs.” This comment could have made Logan Paul a bit too angry, who was quick to shut down the Irishman by claiming, “You couldn’t even do your main job. How are you going to do a side job?”

Meanwhile, it isn’t just the Pauls who are taking digs at Conor McGregor; one of his biggest UFC rivals also chimed in recently and sounded off on the former UFC double champion. Let’s take a look at that front.

Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor never miss a chance to unload on each other with verbal jibes, and that’s exactly what the Stockton native did again. However, it was not limited to the Irishman because Diaz didn’t have much respect for the Paul brothers as well. When he came across the video clips of McGregor and the social media stars linking up at the inauguration ceremony, the former UFC lightweight title contender dissed all three of them in a tweet on X.

“Sit where your told at the big Inauguration Day u f**n dorks,” Nate Diaz wrote. The Stockton native is another opponent that Conor McGregor has mentioned wanting to fight in the UFC. With two fights reportedly left on his contract, he’s hoping to get that trilogy fight soon, but as we know, we still don’t have any certainty about him making his comeback this year.

While Dana White has assured that Conor McGregor will make his return later this year, people are still waiting to see if his boxing match comes to fruition. After all, he claims to be getting paid around a quarter of a billion dollars and people want to see if it’s really the truth. What do you reckon? Drop your comments below.
