The much-awaited fight of the year is the boxing clash between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul. However, the event faced a huge setback after the date of the fight was recently postponed. Tyson suffered an ulcer flare, which forced the boxing legend to undergo medical treatment. However, it now seems that the fight has found a new date, much to the delight of the fans.

Most fans felt that the fight would finally be called off, as most of them were concerned about Tyson’s health. However, it seems the fight is on, as a recent X post reveals the exact details of the fight.

Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul will now take place in November

Former social media influencer Jake Paul had been working very hard for his upcoming clash against Mike Tyson. The former social media influencer was super upset after the fight was postponed. However, he is now super delighted as the fight has found a new date. Ariel Helwani shared the details of the fight on his X account, which read as, “The Jake Paul x Mike Tyson boxing match has been rescheduled for Nov. 15, per @MostVpromotions”. 

Paul also responded to the news and tweeted, “New date, same place, same fate.” Since the time this fight was announced, the fans have been worried about the clash. One of the biggest causes of concern for most fans was the 30-year age gap between both fighters. Tyson will turn 58 at the time of the fight, which is massive in terms of contact sports. Paul does have sufficient boxing skills and strength to cause severe damage to the former champion. While Tyson has been looking sharp in most of his training videos, at this age, things can change pretty quickly.

With the fight now postponed, experts have started coming up with their reasoning. Speaking about reasoning, former UFC fighter Brendan Schaub took to his YouTube channel to share his thought process. According to him, it seems Jake Paul has something to do with the entire matter.

A former UFC fighter makes an honest confession about the Tyson vs. Paul fight

The Netflix deal is one of the biggest deals in the fighting world, and many other sports are also trying to enter the streaming platform. However, this sudden news of everything falling through has forced Schaub to believe that something is wrong. According to the former UFC fighter, squandering a deal like this makes no sense. He recently took to his recent episode of ‘The Fighter and the Kid’ podcast and discussed the incident. According to him, the fight being postponed at the last minute is a hint of something big. 

The 41-year-old then went on to say how Jake Paul might have offered Tyson to call off this fight. He said, “Mike’s like, ‘I’m not fighting your young a**. That’s f***ing stupid. He’s [Paul] like, ‘No, no. It gets us in the door with Netflix, we’re gonna give you a, whatever, a flat fee of 10 million, and then a month before, you pull out, my brother comes in.’ Tyson still makes money… Do you think those guys would do that?” 

Schaub then pointed out how Mike Tyson would be making a lot of money even if he walked away from the fight. According to Schaub, ‘The Problem Child’ had planned this just to rope in Logan Paul at the last minute.
