“Jake Gonna Smoke Him”: Leaked Video of Nate Diaz’s “Awful” Sparring Session Ahead of His Fight Against Jake Paul Leaves Fans Unimpressed

With less than a month left for the clash between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz, the Stockton native is leaving no stone unturned to prepare for his first boxing match. Fans recently saw him spar with a 30-1 professional boxer in a viral clip. However, they didn’t seem too impressed with the former UFC fighter’s boxing skills.

Nate Diaz left the UFC after getting his hands raised at UFC 279 in September 2022. The welterweight star wanted to explore other lucrative avenues outside the cage, especially in boxing. Ten months hence, he is preparing for a fight with Jake Paul, which will also be his first post-UFC fight. Having no prior experience in professional boxing, he sparred with professional boxer Esquiva Falcao of Brazil to get a feel of the situation. This move may have backfired as fans believe his in-ring abilities leave much to be desired.

The video shows the MMA veteran successfully landing punches on the Brazilian pro boxer. He used some odd strikes and unusual foot movements to confuse his sparring partner, which enabled him to land the strikes. His unorthodox style and unending cardio could be his greatest weapons against ‘The Problem Child.’

However, some fans believe Diaz’s skills in the clip only spell his doom in the upcoming bout.

Nate Diaz didn’t impress fans with his boxing skills

Nate Diaz’s boxing skills during the sparring session with Esquiva Falcao left many fans disappointed. Although the Stockton star was moving forward and landing punches, many fans believe Paul will be too good for him.

One of them said Diaz was being sloppy inside the squared circle and claimed that his style could not defeat Jake Paul.

Another fan claimed that the YouTuber-tuned-boxer will easily defeat him, given what they saw in the video clip.

A Twitter user noticed Diaz’s unusual boxing style and called it frustrating.

One fan did not say much, but claimed that the Stockton native’s boxing skills were “awful.”

Another wanted to know who leaked the clip, given how terrible Nate Diaz looked while boxing.

One fan predicted that Jake Paul would knock out Nate Diaz within two rounds.

Some of these fans seem to have lost faith in Diaz being able to knock ‘The Problem Child’ out. Instead, one fan believes that the former UFC star will have to win the fight by scoring more points.
