UFC CEO Dana White often showcases the vengeful side of his personality. Quite unbelievably, he accused the former UFC heavyweight champ, Francis Ngannou, of not wanting to fight Jon Jones, which resulted in his UFC exit. Fans may also be aware of White’s feud with a few noted personalities in the sport of boxing. In his recent appearance at the post-Dana White Contender Series, White expressed his desire to go head-on with a few boxing promoters once more.
UFC fans may remember how the 54-year-old got into a feud with his co-promoter, Stephen Espinoza, following the coveted Mayweather vs. McGregor fight. However, this time, he probably has two adversaries that he’ll have to deal with. The UFC CEO was nonchalant despite the alliance between his adversaries. He even had a prediction about how the venture of his boxing-promoter adversaries would end.

Most fans may already know about The Sphere or MSG Sphere, which is a coveted music and entertainment arena in Paradise, Nevada. Reportedly, UFC CEO Dana White was startled by the arena when he visited it to attend a concert by the noted Irish rock band U2. The known MMA coverage personality, Aaron Bronsteter, revealed that White had also vowed that he would put up the “greatest live combat sports event” at The Sphere. His update on ‘X’ said that White would try to get the Mexican Independence Day UFC event organized inside The Sphere.
It means that White is planning for a UFC event inside the arena on September 16 of the next year. But this timeline is what has got him into a face-off with an allied force of two boxing promoters. Reports also say that the noted boxing promotion head honchos, Oscar De La Hoya and Bob Arum, are also in talks about joining hands to put up a boxing event inside MSG Sphere. But they have also selected the month of September for it, which clashes with White’s preferred timeline.
However, the 54-year-old was extremely confident that he would be the one to have the last laugh. In his post-DWCS press conference, White took a jab at his rivals, saying, “They can join all the forces they want to join”. He also implied that it will be the UFC who will finally manage to get the venue and organize their event in “September”.
But it wasn’t just brash confidence from the UFC CEO. Most fans might know that White knows quite a lot about the boxing scene after working with boxing promoters. He opined from his knowledge that his rival boxing promoters won’t be able to work out a proper process to get their desired event organized inside the sphere.
