Insider Claims Anthony Joshua Makes Phony Training Videos – “Forgets to Splash Water…”

Former two-division champion Conor McGregor is all set to make a return to the Octagon. Most MMA fans are desperately waiting for his return, as the 35-year-old has limited fights left on his contract. He will be facing his longtime rival, Michael Chandler, on his return for what promises to be an exciting event.

McGregor is fairly active on social media and constantly uploads his training videos. One of his recent boxing clips has caught the attention of many, including Chael Sonnen. The former UFC fighter recently took to his YouTube channel to give his verdict on the video.

Fan favorite UFC analyst Chael Sonnen has always been known for his harsh criticisms. This time around, Uncle Sonnen analyzed a boxing clip of ‘Mystic Mac’. Just like in his old videos, Sonnen did not hold back his words and shared an honest opinion regarding the video.

The 46-year-old said, “So imagine if I have a video, right? So the first thing I’m going to be looking for is sweat. Whenever I see these videos, I’m looking for sweat. Even if it’s three or four seconds, I’m looking for sweat, and I am looking for the way that he is breathing.”

According to Sonnen, most of the fighters upload videos just for the sake of their fans. Most of them make sure they have the correct camera angles along with proper lighting as well. He then pointed out how former boxing champion Anthony Joshua also does the same. He said, “And I’m only doing that to authenticate the video. Most are phonies. You know I give a hard time to Anthony Joshua. Anthony Joshua puts out phony training videos constantly, but he gives himself up to their phony videos because he forgets to splash water on himself. “

Sonnen has never been a fan of ‘The Notorious’ one and has constantly criticized the Dubliner for his delay in return. Before his UFC 303 fight, most experts had started picking their favorites for the fight. In a recent interview, ‘The American Gangster’ also picked his favorite, which might surprise many.

Chael Sonnen picks Michael Chandler as his favorite for UFC 303

Chael Sonnen recently sat down for a chat with Donagh Corby of Bloody Elbow. While speaking to the host, Sonnen didn’t seem very excited about the upcoming clash. However, he did take the time to pick his favorite between the two. In his recent interview, the 46-year-old broke down the strengths and weaknesses of both fighters.

He said, “Michael Chandler, with you have the most disciplined guy in the sport arguably. You have the most undisciplined guy in the sport, for sure. And it’s one of those situations where when you do this conversation everybody’s going to be lazy like I’m going to be right now and say Conor’s got a puncher chance and if Chandler stands up with him, so on and so forth.” 

The fight will take place in the 170-pound division, which many feel is the strength of Michael Chandler. However, he does have a few more strengths as well, which makes him the favorite. During the interview, Uncle Sonnen made it absolutely clear that ‘The Notorious’ has no chance in his upcoming fight. He further added, “I don’t know where you got that idea of puncher chance. I know that’s something people say. The better guy wins, he wins every single time, and Michael Chandler can go out there and box with Conor at this point.”
