Jake Paul has turned into a sensation in the past few years. The Youtuber-turned-boxer is 4-0 since turning pro and has wins over former MMA champions, Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren. ‘The Problem Child’ is currently preparing to fight Tommy Fury, who is the half-brother of Tyson Fury. Fury is also currently undefeated in his pro boxing career and is 7-0 with four knockouts.

In the build-up to his fight with Fury, Paul has reignited the idea of fighting Conor McGregor and says that it is a real possibility. He also boasted about the fact that he’ll beat the former two-division UFC champion.

In an interview, he said, “This started with me calling out McGregor, and people were like, oh that kid’s crazy, McGregor would kill him. And now it’s like that fight could happen in the next 24 months, 100 percent. And it probably will, and I will beat him. People are seeing how serious I am about this and changing the way they think about it.”

Jake Paul also has another UFC superstar, Nate Diaz, gunning for him. Diaz has just one fight left on his UFC contract, and a fight against Paul might not be a far-fetched idea.

Jake Paul vs. Conor McGregor

Jake Paul, whether or not people like it, has backed everything he has said in the ring. He is undefeated and has looked like a man who is improving with every passing fight. He is coming off a controversial spilt decision win against former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley.

The feud between him and McGregor started after Paul called out the Irishman after his fight against Nate Robinson. He knocked out the former NBA star in the second round. Since that callout, ‘The Notorious’ has lost twice inside the octagon to Dustin Poirier and is currently sidelined because of an injury.

A fight between the two still seems unlikely, as McGregor has two fights left in his UFC contract. But it cannot be completely pushed away as well, because Conor McGregor has stepped inside a boxing ring before. He fought the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. Even though he lost the fight, he held his own.

The Problem Child‘ has let go of no opportunity to troll McGregor, and he definitely would want a piece of him soon. However, he should not be Jake Paul’s immediate concern, as he has a fight coming up on December 18, 2021.
