Boxing legend Tyson Fury congratulated UFC heavyweight Francis Ngannou for his victory with an exciting offer.
‘The Predator’ defeated the interim heavyweight champion, Ciryl Gane, in his first-ever title defense at UFC 270. The latter is one of the best technical fighters in the division. Hence, he was a heavy favorite to pick up a decision going into the fight.
Many even believed ‘Bon Gamin’ can be a tough opponent for Ngannou, given his impressive speed and striking abilities for being a heavyweight. However, the Cameroonian displayed an amazing performance and dominated the fight to defend his title.

This comes after ‘The Predator’ got paid a sum of $6,00,000 for his main event at UFC 270. It is a tiny payday compared to what Fury earned from his previous fight against Deontay Wilder last year.
Hence, ‘The Gypsy King’ offered a deal to ‘The Predator’ whilst congratulating him for his victory. Chiefly, this is not the first time Fury poked the UFC heavyweight fighter. The pair have indulged in many such verbal wars in the past and has also hinted at a potential boxing match.
Unfortunately, the match never came to fruition. However, Ngannou is yet to sign a new deal with UFC and is having differences regarding his contract. Also, he hinted at a career in boxing after his win at UFC 270.
Francis Ngannou talks about a career in boxing
‘The Predator’ is one of the most vicious strikers in the history of UFC. He has a professional career record of 17-3, with twelve knockouts and four submission wins under his name.
Interestingly, Ngannou has also expressed his interest in transitioning to boxing in many of his interviews. With the uncertainty of his future in the UFC, fans might soon see him compete inside the ring.

“And right now I am really looking toward any opportunity to get that. Because it’s not like I have a lifetime here. So yeah, I better start thinking about it.”
However, it is up to the UFC now. If they provide him a boxing clause in his contract, Ngannou might continue in the promotion, or else he will soon walk a distinct career path.
