The Dubliner is on a break from Combat sports. After suffering a leg injury against Dustin Poirier in his last UFC fight. But his love for the ring may drag him back, especially considering a fellow Irishman offered him a shot at the IBO-super welterweight title.

Mystic Mac also stated he was on his way to full recovery and can’t wait to get back into action. “Boxing training is going well, [and] strength training. I am excited to get back.” said McGregor.

Looks like The UFC Superstar will make his way into boxing, based on his attitude towards the sport. Might even take up Hogan’s challenge for a title shot.
