Michael Bisping already has a winner in mind for Jake Paul and Nate Diazs showdown. The UFC Hall of Famer believes the YouTube star holds the upper hand as he looks to bounce back after dropping his previous fight against Tommy Fury. However, this is where his praise of the internet phenomenon runs dry.

Bisping has also previously called Paul a “little d*ickhead” in his exchanges with the YouTuber. The former UFC champion has gone back and forth with the Youtuber-turned-boxer on Twitter. Their rivalry turned a new chapter when the American sent him derisive DMs on Twitter. The boxer asked him, “How does Dana’s n*ts taste?” after the British fighter showed support for UFC President Dana White and his indifference to the fighters’ union. This exchange escalated tensions between them, and the former middleweight champion recently jumped on the opportunity to question Paul’s boxing skills.

The 44-year-old mentioned that although he wants ‘Stockton Slapper’ to win, he doesn’t think the former UFC fighter can. However, he also expressed his doubts about the boxing skills that Paul possessed.

The former middleweight champion said, “He’s[Jake Paul] very good at YouTube and he’s not that bad at boxing. But he’s not good at boxing, far from it. I think we saw that against Tommy Fury.”

The Brit then made it clear that he hoped his prediction goes wrong. He had theorized before that Anderson Silva would beat Paul when both fighters had matched. But his prediction would turn out wrong. Bisping had to be content with the fact that ‘The Spider’ was nearing 50 when he lost the fight to Paul.

‘The Count’ continued, “But I just think, I do think he’ll beat Nate Diaz and I hope I’m wrong. I hope to God I am wrong, I hope. I thought Anderson Silva would beat him and this is overlooked holding that the man’s almost 50 for crying out loud.”

This was the third win of ‘The Problem Child’ against an MMA fighter within a period of 2 years. Bisping also talked about why MMA fighters were agreeing to fight Jake Paul.

What attracts fighters to Jake Paul

Bisping stated, “Listen, the thing is Jake’s got a lot of money and he’s got a lot of people that support him. He’s got his massive fan base on YouTube and the younger kids all seem to know him, like him”

“So, he offers these people big paydays, you know. And they would take it because the reality is, I mean, somebody like me, someone like Anderson Silva, someone like Nate Diaz and Tyron Woodley don’t look at him as a real threat,” he added later.

Therefore, all fighters perceived him as just a “bloody YouTuber guy” and paid dearly. Paul is currently at 6-1 and will square off against Diaz at American Airlines Center, Dallas on August 5.
