The fight game is correctly understood to be, essentially, show business by the smartest fighters like Muhammad Ali, Conor McGregor, Tyson Fury, and Floyd Mayweather. The purpose of any sport, including combat sports, is to attract as many eyeballs as possible.

And to do that, one needs to entertain the audience and give them a storyline to follow, something the WWE excels (or at least used to excel) at. And Dillon Danis has given the audience exactly that in the run-up to his boxing debut against Logan Paul. But, as the Bellator fighter recently explained to Andrew Tate, this has become difficult after the recent legal controversies he has been involved in.

Appearing on streamer Adin Ross’ stream, Dillon Danis told Andrew Tate that his thoughts on Logan Paul. The New Jersey native said that he doesn’t think Logan Paul actually wants to fight him.  He pointed to the recent legal notices that he has received from Paul’s fiancee, Nina Agdal for sharing the model’s intimate pictures is an indication of this. Danis thinks Paul wants Danis to pull-out so the WWE star could come out looking the hero, and wants to hurt him financially.

“I think Logan doesn’t want me to talk. That’s where I’m at right now I think he doesn’t want to fight me. I think he’s just trying to get me to pull out, somehow so then he looks like the hero, you know.”

The 30-year-old was concerned about the significant fees that he would have to pay lawyers to fight the case, even if he won. “I don’t know why because this is all going through him, you know, and even if I win the case, right, I still have to pay over four hundred thousand dollars in just attorney fees, lawyer fees,” he added.

Danis feels Paul is doing a disservice to their fight promotion by targeting him

Danis was also exasparated as he felt he was doing the heavy-lifting in promoting and marketing their co-main event fight on October 14 on the card headlined by the KSI vs. Tommy Fury fight. So it’s like it’s just when I’m promoting a fight this is the biggest fight he’s ever done and or event he’s ever done and I made the whole event like interesting. It’s just bull***, man,” Danis told Tate.

Some people feel that Danis had gone too far by targeting Paul’s fiancee and painting her as promiscuous who has been involved with many men. However, others think this is just an excellent and effective way to promote the fight. But, it seems Paul is firmly in the former camp.
