In a recent announcement, ex-UFC star Nate Diaz and YouTuber-boxer Jake Paul announced they are set to face each other in a boxing bout. As per the announcement, the fight will go down on August 5. Paul and Diaz have been at each other’s throats for months. ‘The Problem Child’ has a notorious reputation for facing aging MMA stars in the squared circle. However, he has also been eyeing UFC megastars like Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz, and Jorge Masvidal for potential matches.

Nate Diaz joined the UFC in 2007. The 37-year-old exited the promotion after UFC 279 and wanted to explore the realm of boxing. Now, the two athletes will get their wish as they step into the ring on August 5.

Following the fight announcement, both stars had their own bits to say about the upcoming bout. While Diaz wants to shine his surname and remind everyone of his stature in combat sports, Paul wants to shake the cobwebs off from his last bout.
