Francis Ngannou is confident Tyson Fury won’t have an easy fight against him. The former UFC fighter has been preparing heavily for his bout against the undefeated boxer. This will be the first time we see Ngannou go head-to-head in a boxing matchup in his career. While fans are divided about the winning punch, Ngannou sounds almost completely sure.
There are a lot of new things unfolding before the Ngannou fight. Earlier this week, Fury announced that he has signed to appear for another bout after the Ngannou fight. While fans have varying reactions, ‘The Predator’ worries his opponent in the most entertaining way possible. Here’s what he tweeted out earlier.

Francis Ngannou, as a fighter, has evolved over the ages. He became one of the most terrifying heavyweights once he entered the UFC. Almost every other fighter wanted to take on Ngannou in the cage. His knockouts became infamous and soon, so did he. Francis Ngannou left the UFC to make his career better in many respects. Now ahead of his Tyson Fury bout in October this year, his confidence is soaring high.
Tyson Fury had earlier taken to Instagram to confirm that he had signed for another fight. While the exact date for the fight is still unknown, fans and Ngannou suspect it might be in December or potentially January. According to his announcement, Fury will be going up against Oleksandr Usyk soon after the Ngannou fight.
The former UFC champ, however, thinks that it’s not exactly smart of Fury to go back to barreling fists so early after their October clash. In his tweet, he wrote, “I don’t know what’s the minimum medical suspension in boxing but I really don’t understand how Tyson can fight in December after what’s going to happen on 10/28 .” And make no mistake, these are fighting words from the ex-UFC champion.

Ngannou is making it clear that he will be attempting to leave Fury in a shape unfit for a second bout in the span of three or four months. Even if that does not come to pass, not many can take the Israel Adesanya route and compete several times a year let alone a few months apart. In the meantime, Ngannou trains with the likes of Mike Tyson and keeps his head held high.
‘The Predator’ has his sights trained on ‘The Gypsy King’
Shortly after the Fury-Usyk fight announcement came, Ngannou shared a short message on X. The PFL star posted a training clip with a reminder for all the spectators following the Fury fight saga. He wrote, “I have been underestimated and doubted before. We’ll see.”
