Recently, the action star Michael Jai White has joined the list of heaping praise on ‘Jonny Bones’. Interestingly, ‘The Dark Knight’ actor has first-hand experience of sparring with the UFC champion.

Speaking about Jones after his return, Jai White has always praised the former light heavyweight champion as the greatest MMA fighter, and he still stands by his statement. Moreover, talking on the subject, the actor has now compared Jon Jones to the boxing legend Floyd Mayweather to explain the greatness of ‘Jonny Bones’.

During a recent interview, the 55-year-old actor and martial artist talked about the return of Jon Jones and more. While talking about how exceptionally skilled he is, Michael Jai White went on to compare the UFC fighter with the 50-0 boxer Floyd Mayweather in terms of the mindset.
The actor said, “Just like with Floyd Mayweather, he is way ahead- You know how calm he is the ring?”
He further added, “Nobody’s beaten that guy. Because I just saw how calm he was. And how he would see the openings… And Jon would see the same things. He’d see things from different angles. And he moved with a natural ability. That’s why I wanted to train and spar against him more than anybody.”

On the fighting front, Jon Jones is currently touted to face the heavyweight royalty, Stipe Miocic, in his next bout. While the official announcement is yet to be made, the prospect of this epic showdown has already sent shockwaves through the MMA world.
However, after this fight, ‘Jonny Bones’ has stated that he aims for retirement, owing to the fact that there won’t be anything left to prove. Jones has already cemented his place as one of the greatest fighters of all time, and a victory over Miocic would only further solidify his legacy.
