The cross-over bout between Tyson Fury and UFC legend Francis Ngannou is drawing near. Both heavyweight bigwigs have equally indulged in shooting salvos at one another. Francis Ngannou, who made waves after boxing legend Mike Tyson held the responsibility to train him for his forthcoming boxing bout, was gibed by Fury recently.

Concerning Ngannou’s recent training video that featured Mike Tyson alongside him, Fury teased ‘The Predator’ and claimed that he was going to knock Ngannou out. The ex-UFC star shortly gave a fitting response to the boxing champion’s jibe. But how did he respond?

While having a small conversation with TMZ Sports on YouTube, Ngannou addressed Fury’s bold claim with a bang. The conversation began when Ngannou was asked for a response to Fury’s blunt statements concerning him. He didn’t take much time and fired back at ‘ The Gypsy King.’ He said, ” He’s gonna hit the canvas, I don’t know how you call that but I know that he’s going to the canvas.” In fact, he didn’t stop here since he had to highlight the same statement again, “He is good at coming up, back up, We’re gonna find out how good he is, but he is gonna hit that canvas.”

Not only Fury is confident about the boxing bout, but also Ngannou is. As apparent from the video, he wanted to highlight his confidence and even stated that he was going to drop Fury during the boxing bout. It was all because of Fury’s recent comments on Mike Tyson’s Twitter clip that featured him and Ngannou’s sparring journey.

Ending his statement he further said, “You’re going to get KO’d in the Kingdom.” Indeed, this boxing bout is going to be one of the biggest challenges of Ngannou’s illustrious career. But why is it so?

Biggest battle of Ngannou’s career coming up?

This boxing bout is surely going to be a matter of utter intrigue, drawing huge attention to Riyadh. While Fury is considered a favorite for this bout, Ngannou is on the verge of making an impact in a different ballgame altogether. Fury, being a WBC champion, would surely be battling Ngannou on homeground; however, the UFC legend would still be an uphill climb considering his MMA stature.

In fact, the sources revealed that Ngannou was paid a whopping eight-digit amount for this scintillating clash, which could be close to $10 million.
