‘Ready 4 War’ lived up to its name last night in Dallas. Jake Paul and Nate Diaz showed true heart and exchanged blows until the very end. Diaz, who is originally a martial artist, was restricted in terms of the arsenal at his disposal while Paul, who is currently a professional boxer, had the upper hand in technicality.

The fight between the two had been brewing for a while and when the day finally came, neither fighter disappointed the viewers. Nate Diaz fulfilled his promise and delivered more as the fight ended with a unanimous decision to Paul. But now, Conor McGregor has decided to call out Paul after his impressive fight.

Both Jake Paul and Nate Diaz left it all in the ring on 5 August in Dallas. The viewers got exactly what they paid for. There was a lot of back and forth. Paul came in early with heavy shots and even downed Diaz once. However, the ‘no-quit’ attitude of Nate Diaz got him back on his feet, following which Diaz answered some of Paul’s strikes with his own. At one point, Nate Diaz’s MMA instincts kicked in as he held Paul in a guillotine. The match official had to pull him off.

Before the fight, when people were short-selling the former UFC fighter, Diaz had said that he would go the distance with Jake Paul – which he did. The fight went on for 10 rounds, after which Paul was declared the winner by unanimous decision. That being said, Paul called Diaz a ‘warrior’ in the post-fight press conference and was impressed with his durability. But there is more.

Former UFC lightweight champ and an old rival of Diaz has entered the scene. Conor McGregor sent out a tweet to Jake Paul, trying to incite him into a fight. In the post-fight press conference, a reporter notified Paul and his team of McGregor’s Tweet for him that read: F**k this, sweetie what’s up”.

Paul seemed unaffected by it, and when the reporter asked him about it, Paul simply said, “I don’t care about that guy. Yeah, he needs to go to rehab.“, destroying any and all attempts from McGregor to squeeze himself into this. The Youtuber-turned-boxer then proceeded to declare to the world his plans for the future.

Recently, when Justin Gaethje secured a win over Dustin Poirier and became the second owner of the iconic BMF belt, McGregor shunned the Chandler fight and declared that he wanted to fight Gaethje for the BMF belt. Now, it seems he is trying to stir things up in the boxing world as well. However, both Justin Gaethje and Jake Paul have majorly downplayed McGregor’s efforts.
