Undefeated 10-0 boxer Tommy Fury is back in action for another cross-over fight. Unlike his older brother Tyson Fury, ‘TNT’ is not one to shy away from competing in celebrity pro-boxing bouts. Apart from sharing blood-ties with the former unified boxing world champion, and his reality-TV appearance, Tommy Fury is most famous for squaring off against and beating YouTuber-turned-boxers Jake Paul and KSI. In his latest venture, he will welcome Darren Till in the latter’s first pro-boxing appearance. However, fans, who would usually be excited, have expressed worry at shape of Darren Till’s current physique.
Darren Till‘s boxing venture began with an exhibition bout that ended in a pretty chaotic fashion, to say the least. While he defeated his debut opponent, Mohammad Mutie, via a technical knockout, a brawl ensued in the aftermath of their bout. Thankfully, there was no major injury to any individual involved in the brawl. Now in his pro-boxing debut, ‘The Gorilla’ is gearing up for Tommy Fury under Misfits Boxing’s banner, although it doesn’t appear that the Liverpudlian is in fighting shape.
The former UFC fighter was seen in a photoshoot ahead of the X Series 20 presser, casually shadowboxing as the pictures were being taken. But the worrying thing pointed out by fans, Darren Till looking bulkier. While seeming heavier, ‘The Gorilla’ looks in no shape at all to compete in a professional fight, which is the opposite of Tommy Fury, who is always in shape.

Till has had a roller-coaster of an MMA career, experiencing the highest of the highs, and lowest lows. What started out as a promising career, with ‘The Gorilla’ fighting for a title on top, ended with a 1-5 losing streak in his last six UFC fights. To his credit, Till was battling severe knee injuries while competing towards the end of his UFC career. However, it seems like the Liverpool native is struggling to get back on his feet, or this case, in shape. As many would expect, the sight of witnessing Darren Till – who once regularly made weight in the UFC and tore through his opponents – being out of shape didn’t sink well with the fans. Let’s see what they had to say.

In that regard, a few users on X stated, “F— me he looks awful,” “He’s f***ing obese,” and “Looks dreadful,” – predicting a bitter end for Till when he takes on Tommy Fury, with another fan claiming that, “This aint gonna be good.”
Some fans even questioned the seriousness of the contest, believing that ‘The Gorilla’ may not be adjusting his lifestyle given that he’s got a professional fight coming up. “Too much beer, lads,” one fan added. On the other side of the story, some fans have made their clear-cut predictions already. They’re pretty confident that everybody will witness a pretty early end to the boxing match between Tommy Fury and Darren Till, so there’s not much for anyone to expect in this boxing contest. “Over in 2 rounds. Who would even pay to watch this fight?”
