The communities of boxing and mixed martial arts collided against each other as the talks about Tyson Fury fighting Jon Jones began to rise. The two have gone back and forth for quite a while on the internet. Surprisingly, the UFC boss, Dana White also offered the WBC heavyweight champion to take his chance against Jones inside the MMA cage. However, Fury was seemingly reserved for the former UFC heavyweight champion.
In a recent interview on ‘The Schmo’, Dave Schmulenson asked Francis Ngannou about his thoughts on the talks about Fury going against Jones because Ngannou was initially set to face Ngannou. The former UFC champion revealed his thoughts on the UFC president’s offer for ‘The Gypsy King’. The Cameroonian fighter strongly claimed that Fury would stay inside the ring and would not enter the cage to fight an MMA bout.

The offer White put forth towards Tyson at the press conference at UFC Vegas 74 attracted several eyes. Without further ado, Schmulenson asked the former UFC fighter about his thoughts on the offer, given the fact that Fury was a potential opponent for Ngannou as well.
‘The Predator’ was seemingly unfazed by White’s act. He declared that what White said and what Fury wanted were two different things. He continued to reveal that ‘The Gypsy King’ didn’t want to enter the MMA cage. In fact, Ngannou’s fight with Fury had a higher probability of coming to reality.
Ngannou replied, “Well, I don’t care about that. There is a difference between what Dana White say, and what Tyson Fury wants, you know. So, as for right now, I think we are more likely to to also have that fight. But nothing has been set up yet… He is not going to fight MMA, he’s not going to fight in the cage. He was clear about that. He’s gonna be in the ring. Period.”
