When asked about his opinions on the Diaz vs Paul fight, Holloway displayed his strong support for Nate Diaz. He expressed his admiration for Diaz and said that he thinks Diaz will perform well in a boxing fight.

He described Diaz as a boxing-based fighter and also praised the former UFC welterweight’s long reach. “Gotta roll with the OG Nate man. I got nothing but love for Nate and I think he does good. I think he does well man, he’s a boxer. He’s a boxing base guy in MMA so now he gets actually box and stuff. His reach and man he can hit, he can crack bro. His arms are long and he can crack so I’m excited for that one”, said Holloway.

‘The Blessed’ also said that the reason Diaz vs Paul took so long to solidify was that Diaz was trying “to get all his boys paid too”. Overall, Holloway seemed very positive and excited seeing the direction Diaz’s fighting future was headed.

Despite losing three times to current featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski, Holloway believes he is still in the running for another shot at the title. He recently stated in an interview that there is a possibility to fight Alexander Volkanovksi for the fourth time.
