Jake Paul has been targeted by the entire fighting realm following his victory over Mike Tyson. No doubt, it was a bout that got ‘The Problem Child’ a boatload of money. But it also reeled in challenges from his fellow boxers. Ryan Garcia, Gervonta Davis, Daniel Dubois, Artur Beterbiev, you name it! With so many challenges incoming, the YouTuber-turned-professional boxer faced a dilemma. Who should he fight next? Well, it seems like Chael Sonnen had a suggestion for Paul. But before that, ‘The American Gangster’ lashed out at the boxing realm.

Sonnen wasn’t happy at all with the professional boxers throwing shade at Paul, challenging him for a fight. Taking to his YouTube talk show, the former UFC contender said, “I’m hearing a number of boxers today, right, like boxers had no b–ls for years. And all of a sudden, today, they’ve all found b–ls and they want to fight Jake Paul.” He reflected on the time when Paul was left without opponents and was calling out big names like Conor McGregor and Canelo Alvarez. Facing someone as scary as Tyson further lifted Sonnen’s image of Paul. That was when he put forth the problem with people calling Paul out. He said, “And so I believe Jake. I believe that he wants it. What I don’t believe is these people who are calling him out. I question their sincerity. I question do you want it, or are you willing to do it? There’s a huge difference.”

‘The Bad Guy’ had a solution for that, and it was organizing a tournament. He continued, “How would we know who wants it as opposed to who’s willing to do it? Well, let me offer you a suggestion. A tournament. Winner gets Jake Paul. See, that is more captivating for me, and to each his own. But I do have a belief system in telling you that when you do a tournament, when you do an event that leads to an opportunity as opposed to a payout, that you get the audience’s attention more.”

Fighting Jake Paul indeed came with huge amounts of money. However, there was a man who agreed to fight ‘The Problem Child’ for free. You guessed it! I’m talking about Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson

Former UFC light heavyweight champion wants to fight Jake Paul without pay

Soon after his fight against ‘The Baddest Man On The Planet’, Paul took a jibe at McGregor. With the Irishman’s UFC contract still having 2 more fights, a bout between Paul and Conor McGregor was a thing that needed a bit more time. But as ‘The Notorious’ kept on dissing the boxer, the 27-year-old had to respond. He quoted, “Dear Conor, I know you told my team you would fight me at 170lbs. That’s never happening. But let’s run in MMA. No weight class. Just like how it used to be done. But you won’t.”

What’s your perspective on:

Is Jake Paul the real deal, or are these boxers just chasing clout by calling him out?

Have an interesting take?

But ‘Rampage’ Jackson wasn’t going to let the YouTuber bash MMA celebrities. Taking to X, he wrote, “Yo @jakepaul watch how you talk to MMA royalty. I’ll fight you in MMA no weight class for no pay. That’s a great deal.. but I bet YOU won’t. Stop disrespecting people in my f–ken sport homie. You fighting Tyson was your last straw.. go back to boxing wrestlers.”

But wait… You don’t think that’s the real reason why ‘Rampage’ called Paul out, do you? Well, not long after he called Paul out, Jackson shared a training video on Instagram. And the caption read, “The real reason why Jake Paul has never called me out [wink emoji]”.

Nevertheless, ‘The Problem Child’s fame continues to rise, with fighters calling him out with every passing moment. The question that remains is who would he grace with a fight. Do you think organizing a tournament to select Paul’s next opponent is a good idea? Who do you think should face the YouTuber-cum-boxer next?
