He believes that Ngannou should have a strategy to become the number one contender and that this is the way to achieve it.

Sonnen acknowledges that the world may not work out as he hopes, but he believes that Ngannou should at least have a plan to work in that direction. He said, “Joe Rogan talked about this. Joe Rogan said, ‘hey, Ngannou, one thing don’t sign an exclusive. Whatever this is that you think Fury’s gonna do is you go do it and then come right back. You got a little bit of time here March 4th that’s down the road’.”

“I agree with Joe and whether it works out that way or not let’s at least consider it. Nothing to say, Francis can’t come back.” He further added. Sonnen agrees with Rogan and believes that Ngannou should at least consider this option.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding Ngannou’s future, UFC fans are eager to see him make a return. Whether Dana White and Ngannou will be able to resolve their differences and reach an agreement remains to be seen.
