Social media superstar and boxer Jake Paul has signed a multi-fight deal with Professional Fighters League (PFL). He is set to compete in the new ‘Super Fight’ division. All of his events will be on pay-per-view. The ‘Problem Child’ has made it clear that he wants to pursue both boxing and MMA. Former UFC star Sam Alvey has taken a jibe at Paul‘s decision to pursue MMA.
Paul is undefeated in boxing and boasts a record of 6-0. Besides his brother Logan Paul and UK YouTube star KSI, he is one of the reasons behind the success of influencer boxing. Jake Paul‘s move to mixed martial arts has surprised many people in the MMA community. He has also announced his opponent for the first fight.

Paul has offered UFC veteran Nate Diaz an unusual 2-fight deal. He proposed the first match to be a boxing match. The second match would be an MMA bout inside the PFL smart cage. There have been many people in the MMA community who have been itching to lay hands on Jake Paul, and one of them is Sam Alvey.

Former UFC star Sam Alvey has taken a hilarious dig at Jake Paul‘s multi-fight deal with PFL. He made a comment on MMA Junkie’s Instagram post about Paul’s PFL signing and wrote: “I hear he’s calling out Royce Gracie his first fight.” The 36-year-old referred to Paul‘s choices to fight older or retired athletes. The ‘Problem Child’ has fought retired MMA stars like Ben Askren and Anderson Silva in boxing.

Sam Alvey is not ready to hang up his gloves despite coming to terms with the UFC on his release. He had been waiting to fight Jake Paul since a few months ago. He told the MMA Hour in a past interview that everybody wants to fight Jake Paul.
Alvey said, “Every MMA fighter wants it, but now it kind of makes sense… is the Jake Paul fight.” Sam Alvey also referred to Jake Paul as a “douche” and almost tried to break his brother’s jaw in a sparring session. Although the UFC middleweight fighter is not the first fighter to express such opinions about the ‘Problem Child.’
