The MMA and boxing worlds seem to be on their toes. Ever since Floyd Mayweather revealed he would fight UFC’s Conor McGregor once again, there’s a lot of buzz about the upcoming fight. Earlier, the undefeated boxer revealed he would prefer an exhibition fight against the mixed martial artist. However, there’s more news.

As per reports, Mayweather wants his boxing match against ‘The Notorious’ to take place in Las Vegas in the Allegiant Stadium. The stadium has a huge capacity of accommodating around 70,000 spectators. He feels it is the ideal venue for the anticipated match.

Mayweather said (h/t DailyMail), “They talked about it being in Vegas, at the Allegiant Stadium.”

“They talked about it being at the Allegiant Stadium. But if I’m not mistaken, Conor still has a problems with his leg.” Thus, McGregor’s injury could impede the match. However, the fighter seems to have recovered.

The stadium has also hosted NFL and NCAA games.

Earlier this week, the 50-0 boxer spoke to ‘Sportsmail’ and revealed details about his match with McGregor, which will take place next year, in 2023. Their first match took place in 2017, and ‘Money’ emerged victorious in the tenth round.

Additionally, for the second bout against McGregor, the boxer expects a nine-figure pay. He said, “If the price is right. Of course, they already talked to me about the number that I’m going to receive.”

“… it’s nine-figures … but we have to at least start at $100 million for Floyd Mayweather.”

‘Pretty Boy’ may have retired from professional boxing, but exhibition matches keep him busy. In his conversation with ‘Sportsmail, he revealed he would prefer facing YouTubers or UFC fighters in the ring because they don’t hit that hard.

Regardless, ‘Mystic Mac’ has previously spoken about his love for boxing. Hence, it would be interesting to see if Mayweather versus McGregor takes place next year. However, Floyd Mayweather is preparing for his upcoming exhibition matches.

He expects the Irishman to get fit and recover from his injuries by next year.
