We’re not too far away from Mike Tyson‘s return to the squared circle, but it’s looking like it has the risk of turning out to be a disastrous decision. We’re not talking about how he performs but about his capacity to fill the seats, which had never been a problem but now it looks like it has become a problem. However, there seems to be one way Tyson and Jake Paul can preserve the fans’ interest in their fight.
No doubt Mike Tyson’s certainly there among the most recognized folks in the sporting community due to the reign of terror he was in during his prime as a boxing machine. But at 58 years old, things are looking dim for ‘Iron’ because he and Jake Paul are finding it hard to garner interest in their Netflix special clash.

Although there could be a huge audience on Netflix, the arena ticket sales are looking way out of order for the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight. According to ‘The Daily Express’, there are so many tickets still available online that the promoters decided to slash the price in half to make fans consider coming to watch the boxing match. It still isn’t working, and that’s where former UFC fighter Brendan Schaub comes in, suggesting that Tyson and Paul spice their fight up a little. So, how about some bare-knuckle action?
“I like my boy Mike, but there’s just no appetite for this. Nobody wants to see it,” Brendan Schaub stated on his YouTube channel. “You want to get people intrigued with this fight, which they can’t; they keep trying but they can’t. Just make it bare knuckle.”
The appeal of bare-knuckle boxing is certainly there, given that the biggest promoter, BKFC, is reaching new heights after every single event. Could we really see that rule added as a stipulation for Jake Paul and Mike Tyson’s exhibition fight?

However, there could be one way in which Mike Tyson can earn his ‘wow’ moment against Jake Paul. And that’s if he can settle the score with the YouTuber-turned-boxer pretty early.
Tyson gets another suggestion, but it’s about how he can end Paul in “40 seconds”
Former 3-division boxing champion Jeff Fenech, who boasts a 29-3-1 record, seems to have a fair amount of interest in witnessing Mike Tyson’s comeback, with whom he’d been in contact recently. Although Jake Paul’s been impressive in his boxing endeavor, the Australian legend believes ‘El Gallo’ may have to put in a lot more effort than Tyson. In fact, Fenech believes that all the fuss will end if ‘Iron’ Mike can land one clean punch on the 27-year-old.

“I spoke to Mike two days ago. I just told him what I think he should do—don’t punch with him [Paul], don’t punch at the same time as Jake Paul. Just make him miss and make him pay. It could be over in 40 seconds if he lands one punch,” Jeff Fenech told ‘The Daily Telegraph’. That would certainly pop the crowd because if it happened, it could get more viewers online. But fans may not want to purchase tickets just because they’re hoping to see Jake Paul eating the canvas.
