Did we just find out who Jake Paul‘s next opponent is? Former middleweight champion Michael Bisping is back in training, years after his retirement. ‘The Count’ has returned to the gym, fists flying and kicks landing. And as he sharpens his skills, you can almost hear Jake Paul licking his chops. ‘The Problem Child’ is known to have built his reputation on dragging the retired legends back into the boxing ring, padding his record; however, is there any connection to Bisping and Jake Paul? Well, let’s find out.

After clinching victories against the likes of retired legends such as Anderson Silva, Mike Tyson, and not-so-retired Nate Diaz, Jake Paul is looking for his next opponent. At the same time, Michael Bisping uploaded a video of him having a light sparring session with his partner. Coincidence? It might be, and this occurrence can actually materialize into a full-fledged fight. How? Well, to put it in very vague terms, Michael Bisping doesn’t like the attitude that Jake Paul has.

When the YouTuber-turned-boxer announced his fight against Mike Tyson, Michael Bisping took to his YouTube handle to throw a barrage of taunts at Paul, “Jake, I hate to point out the obvious, that makes you look pathetic. You just admitted that you’re going up against an old man, who is a legend, of course, but he’s not that guy anymore. Jake Paul, he’s a total—he’s just a tool bag. But Bisping isn’t just another washed-up name to scribble on a paycheck.”

Jake Paul faced heavy criticism when he fought Mike Tyson last year. Despite his victory, he continued to endure constant abuse for the same reason—many accused him of fighting former legends well past their prime. To move away from these accusations, ‘The Problem Child’ has been chasing the likes of Canelo Alvarez for a fight.

Imagine this: you’re a boxer who’s dragged himself across the realm, taking out NPCs, and now you’re standing face-to-face with the final boss. Yeah, that’s exactly what Jake Paul is trying to do. And guess who has come forward to criticize him? It’s none other than our very own Michael Bisping.“Jake Paul is at it again, making an absolute fool out of himself.”

He further added, “Calling out Canelo Alvarez, making videos, dancing around in a sombrero with his shirt off, paying absolutely no respect, and saying that Canelo Alvarez is ducking him and showing contracts, and apparently they were all signed to fight, but then he’s terrified and he’s gone off to Saudi Arabia, and he’s selling his soul and all the rest of it. Shut the hell up, Jake Paul.” Michael Bisping leaves no strong unturned to call out Jake Paul on every occasion. Can this amount to a fight? Let’s have a look at what the fans are saying.

Fans double down on Michael Bisping vs Jake Paul after training footage

Starting off, a fan sarcastically emphasized that Jake Paul might be watching Michael Bisping from a distance: “Jake Paul studying this rn.” Furthermore, another fan emphasized, “Bisping the definition of a BMF.” He should be considered a BMF, given that he couldn’t see from one of his eyes and still managed to defeat Luke Rockhold to clinch the middleweight title.

Moreover, another social media user chimed in to ask, “Jake Paul’s next opponent?” Should Bisping fight under the BKFC management? Well, a fan believes that, “Bisping in BKFC would go CRAZYYY.”

After clinching the middleweight belt from Luke Rockhold, Bisping attempted to defend it against Georges St. Pierre. However, he failed, suffering defeat at the hands of the welterweight GOAT. Following that, he attempted a comeback but was knocked out by Kelvin Gastelum in a follow-up fight. “Should’ve retired at the GSP fight win or loss he tried to come back after and got slept”

Last but not least, a fan added, “Caio Borrahalo fights just like him on the feet.” We might not know whether or not Bisping will be back to the fighting world ever again. One thing is certain and that’s the fact that things would go down differently if ‘The Count’ clashes against Jake Paul.
