Last year, Conor McGregor announced that he would finally return to combat sports. However, his choice of opponent and venue shocked everyone. The former dual-weight champion announced he would face Logan Paul in India, sending waves across the combat sports world. However, the older Paul brother never officially confirmed the bout. That may have changed recently, as the YouTuber-turned-fighter appears to have given his approval for the clash in his latest statement.

Recently, a video has been making waves across social media where we could witness Conor McGregor having a phone call with Logan Paul. The former dual weight champion excitedly stated, “This can and will happen.” As ‘Mystic Mac’ hung up the phone, Logan Paul appeared overjoyed as he stated, “If Conor McGregor wants to fight, we are going to fight. I mean, bro, it’s an epic fight,” said Paul.

He further added, “I would love to. It would be something I would step away from WWE for a second time to go do. $250 million. If Nick can’t catch that, I will stay in the WWE. I think he’s trying to pressure [UFC CEO Dana White] into making it happen because he’s owned by the UFC. He can’t f—ing s— let alone fight without them knowing.”

Earlier, Logan Paul stated in an interview with WWE that he had no intention of venturing outside the promotion, expressing his comfort within the organization. However, the lure of a $250 million opportunity might prove too tempting to resist. When the media asked UFC head honcho Dana White whether Conor McGregor would be clashing against Logan Paul, the UFC CEO stated, “No, no, no, no. Hopefully, Conor McGregor returns… in the fall of this year.”

Why does the former UFC champ want to clash with Logan Paul when Dana White seems uninterested in the fight? Well, that’s because Conor McGregor might be in desperate need of some money. After all, many brands have canceled their deals with the former champ due to the civil case. Despite that, it appears that Conor McGregor is still the hottest thing in the market right now. So, let us have a look at what the fans are thinking about the ultimate clash.

Quick line of the white and he’ll be bouncing.” Is Jake Paul a bigger threat than Logan Paul? Well, the younger Paul brother has fought and won against fighters such as Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz, and Mike Tyson, his records speak for himself. On the other hand, Paul has fought only a big name Floyd Mayweather, and tied with him. Looking at this a fan wrote, “Crazy how conor knows jake is way more of a risk and doesnt want to take that fight.”
