The PPV in question is UFC 279: Khamzat Chimaev vs Nate Diaz. While the event is headlined by the much-anticipated welterweight fight, the rest of the card is not as intriguing as the main event. Jake Paul picked up on this and posted a story targeting the $500 million worth UFC President and the promotion.
Paul wrote in his story, “damn Dana…looks like you can’t sell tickets (the blue is unsold) in your own hometown of Las Vegas for UFC 279? Not only do you hold Nate Diaz hostage. Not only do you put him up against a terrible opponent stylistically. But you create the worst card of the year to honor this man? ESPN even on you.”
Nate Diaz may not have had another option for a fight
In his story, Jake Paul spoke in favor of Nate Diaz, who is on the last fight of his UFC deal. The BMF title challenger, one of the biggest names in the game, wants to explore other forms of combat. Hence, many expect this to be his farewell fight.
