Will there ever be an end to Dillon Danis’ promotional antics? No one knows for sure! Ever since the announcement of his boxing debut against WWE star and YouTuber Logan Paul, Danis has not left any stone unturned to torment his rival. Over the weeks leading up to his Misfits Boxing clash with Paul, Conor McGregor’s sparring partner has posted more than 250 controversial pictures of Paul’s fiance – supermodel Nina Agdal.

However, it seems like his antics do not sit well with UFC’s newly crowned Bantamweight champ ‘Sugar’ Sean O’Malley. The UFC star has been making headlines ever since his dominant title win over former champ Aljamain Sterling. Now, he’s taken to an interview to give his take on what he thinks of Danis’ promotional tactics.

Sean O’Malley recently sat down for an interview with The Schmo. Their amusing discussion touched upon a plethora of topics. However, one of the most intriguing aspects of their dialogue centered on ‘El Jefe’ relentlessly going after ‘The Maverick.’

Schmo presented ‘Sugar’ with a pressing question. Referring to Danis’ uncountable jibes aimed at Agdal, he quizzed, “When is enough, enough? Is it too far or how do you see this thing playing out? Does Dillon Danis even show up on October 14th?”

O’Malley candidly replied, “I don’t know. I think he’ll show up.” He initially stated that he believes Danis will indeed step into the ring, as most fighters do, to back their words. However, his apparent hesitation and follow-up comment, “But then I start – I’m like [will he] really show up? I don’t know…,” reveal that there may be doubts in his mind about Danis’ reliability.

But that’s not all! ‘Sugar’ also shared his take on whether he thinks Danis’ promotional strategy is too much for his own good. So, what does the Bantamweight champion have to say?

What’s more – it’s evident that ‘Sugar’s views on Danis’ promotional tactics are more than complex. He acknowledges that, in the world of combat sports promotion, there’s a certain level of expected trash talk and antics.

However, when it comes to involving someone’s family, he seems to draw a line. O’Malley remarked, “Was it too far? I personally – I don’t want to bring anybody’s family into it. But I don’t necessarily think that just because of that it’s too far. But I wouldn’t do that…”

In essence, O’Malley recognizes the fine line that fighters walk when it comes to promotion. While he may not outright condemn Danis’ actions as “too far,” he emphasizes his personal stance against involving family members. This stance reflects a level of respect for an opponent’s personal boundaries, even in the often-heated world of combat sports.
