Dillon Danis will be facing Logan Paul in his boxing debut on October 14 on the card headed by KSI vs. Tommy Fury. And, unlike his fight against KSI scheduled for earlier this year, he will not be able to pull out without a legitimate reason. Paul has revealed that his contract with the Bellator fighter has a clause that stipulates that he will have to pay Paul $100,000 if he pulls out without good reason for doing so.
Surprisingly or unsurprisingly, Dana White is not a big fan of the clash between the two rivals. Despite Prime, the beverage brand founded by Logan Paul and KSI, being a sponsor of the UFC, the UFC boss made his thoughts known on the fight in the UFC 292 post-fight press conference. And Dillon Danis, of course, responded to White.

On being asked what he thought of the matchup by reporters, Dana White started off by saying that he liked Logan a lot. “I like Logan. I like Logan. A lot. Great kid,” he said.
He then asked any reporter to raise their hand if they think it was a great fight. “Who in this room thinks that’s a great fight? Raise your hands,” he asked reporters.
And apparently, no one thought it would be a ‘great’ fight and raised their hands as White ended by asking, “Nobody? Not one guy?” from the reporters.

In a deleted Tweet, Danis posted a clip of White talking about the bout and wrote fondly about the UFC boss. He revealed that White had actually bought him a pair of expensive boxing gloves in 2010, which he still has to this day. He didn’t understand why the Las Vegas resident was dissing the fight and asked fans to tell White how excited they were.

“Actually, @danawhite was the first person to buy me boxing gloves – a beautiful pair of expensive Winning gloves. I still have them to this day from 2010. Don’t understand the hate. Everyone, tag Dana and tell him how excited you are for this!” he wrote.
Clearly, Dana White is not eagerly looking forward to Dillon Danis vs. Logan Paul. After all, the UFC boss has his hands full with big upcoming UFC cards. Next month, UFC 293 in Australia will see middleweight champion Israel Adesanya defend his title against Sean Strickland. And the vaunted UFC 294 card in Abu Dhabi will see the much-awaited rematch between Charles Oliveira and Islam Makhachev for the lightweight crown and feature the return of fan-favorite Khamzat Chimaev against Paulo Costa.
