The MMA world had been waiting for Conor McGregor‘s impending return to combat sports. But little did they expect him to aim for a boxing match instead of the Octagon. However, when the chatter about the possible payout surfaced, which is rumored to be around $250 million, the picture became clear as to why the Irishman decided to take the fight. However, there seems to be a little twist after what his opponent, Logan Paul, had to say.

During WWE’s debut episode of RAW on Netflix, Logan Paul made a surprising announcement. While claiming that he’s going to get into a full-time WWE schedule, he hinted at possibly getting rid of the other ventures, which for many includes the boxing match against the Irishman. “I’ve been so good at this [professional wrestling]. Now, I’m dedicating my life to this,” the Impaulsive podcast host stated.

“No more side hustle, no more bulls–t. 100 percent WWE,” the former United States champ added. Now, Logan didn’t specify anything about whether the ‘side hustle’ part included his potential boxing match in India against McGregor. However, we’ll have to wait for further updates on this front.

Chael Sonnen finds it hard to believe that Conor McGregor will make $250 million

Chael Sonnen claims that no billionaire would want to pay $250 million to Conor McGregor. Even if he is the biggest mixed martial artist ever. He mentioned how the main goal behind this exhibition bout is to promote tourism in India and to attract fight fans to visit the subcontinent. Sonnen believes that such initiatives are undertaken only by the government of any concerned country while claiming that everything that McGregor has claimed so far about the boxing match is nothing but a big lie.

“Not a single word is true. You’ve got to understand, Conor is not boxing Logan Paul. There is not a billionaire in India looking to bring people over and change tourism,” Sonnen stated on his YouTube channel. “That is something that is exclusively done by the government. There’s no check for $250,000,000… He’s kidding. You’re not supposed to believe any of that to be true.”
