“The world of Imagination is boundless”, as the famous French philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau said. On the other hand, it is also said that reality can be stranger than fiction. And in the case of the Dillon Danis vs. Logan Paul bout, the latter quote seems more fitting.

Because even with the boundlessness of imagination, it is hard to imagine the Dillon Danis vs. Logan Paul fight being any more bizarre than it actually was. And in another strange twist, the result of the bout may be overturned, if Dillon Danis is to be believed.

Dillon Danis shares a clip that may overturn the decision of his recent fight

Logan Paul won his grudge match against Dillon Danis via disqualification. In a post on his Instagram, Danis posted a clip from the fight. The clip shows him in a clinch, trying what looks like a double-leg takedown on the WWE star in the early part of the sixth round. Paul defended himself against the move, and subsequently, one member of Paul’s security team could be seen entering the ring, perhaps to save Logan if Danis takes him down. And this happened before the referee disqualified Danis. The Bellator fighter feels this was a violation of the rules and that Paul should be disqualified.

He tweeted that he would be appealing the decision to the commission to get the result overturned. “There was multiple offenses I’ll be submitting my appeal to the commission today,” he wrote.

Logan Paul beats Dillon Danis via disqualification

Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis was a contentious battle that resulted in Danis’ disqualification. Danis tried a guillotine choke on Paul in the last round, which is prohibited in boxing. Paul won the six-round fight by default. The bout itself was not particularly entertaining, as Danis had his hands raised in a defensive posture, and did not throw a lot of punches.

Paul won all the rounds easily till the sixth round. When the final round commenced, Danis lost his cool and attempted to take down Paul with a guillotine, an MMA submission maneuver. The referee stepped in and immediately stopped the bout, disqualifying Danis, and Logan Paul was declared the winner.
