In a bout that has the fans divided being both concerned and excited, Jake Paul is scheduled to fight Mike Tyson on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Mike Tyson, once the most feared boxer in all of the world, is a shell of his former self. Especially now that ‘Iron Mike’ will turn 60 years old in two years.
The youngest heavyweight champion in the history of the sport also suffers from a bevy of health issues and is thus not expected to do well against the 27-year-old Paul. This is why there were also speculations that the bout may not even get sanctioned after all, and maybe just be a friendly trifling event. But, the bout has been sanctioned after all, to the delight of ‘The Problem Child’. However, Paul’s family nemesis and social media troll, Dillon Danis, as usual, tried to rain on Jake Paul’s parade.

Despite the fears and concerns about the bout being a mismatch between the two men, Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul has now been officially sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations. Their controversial bout will be a professional bout, which will count on their records and will consist of eight two-minute rounds.
This prompted Paul to take to Twitter and call out his critics, “What yall going to say now?” he tweeted. Predictably, this invited a lot of backlash from the fans, who called the former Disney star out for his alleged shamelessness. And chief among them was Dillon Danis, who fought Jake’s brother, Logan in a contentious grudge match last year following a vicious trolling campaign against Logan’s fiancee.
The social media star, of course, doesn’t miss any opportunity to slag off the Pauls’ and jumped on the chance to troll the younger Paul. He quote-tweeted Paul and answered the celebrity boxer’s rhetorical question. The former Bellator star pointed out ‘Iron Mike’s various health problems, age, and mobility issues and shamed him for choosing to fight the former heavyweight champion despite it.
He’s 60, walks with a cane when he’s not in a wheelchair. In reality, you beating him means nothing. Fight someone your age again, oh yeah I forgot you’ll lose lol. https://t.co/fbgkPRYrib

“He’s 60, walks with a cane when he’s not in a wheelchair. In reality, you beating him means nothing. Fight someone your age again, oh yeah I forgot you’ll lose lol,” Danis tweeted. However, despite these very real and legitimate concerns, not everyone is writing off Tyson.

Schaub and White think Tyson-Paul will not be as one-sided as expected
As we have seen, the bout between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul is being seen as mostly a one-sided affair, given the disparity in their ages and athletic ability. Tyson repeatedly spoke about his health problems on his podcast, revealing he even has mobility issues due to his knees being almost destroyed and is almost constantly in pain.
Paul, in his athletic prime and coming off of three victories last year, is expected to be too quick and nimble for the 57-year-old Tyson and to win without much difficulty. However, some astute fight analysts and enthusiasts have taken a different view on the subject.

Hollywood star and martial arts maestro Michael Jai White, for example, has predicted that Tyson’s skills, power, and natural size advantage over ‘The Problem Child’ would be too much for the latter to handle. Podcaster and former UFC heavyweight, Brendan Schaub, on the other hand, thinks that both men will go into the bout with an implicit or explicit understanding to take it easy in the ring, for what would essentially be a glorified sparring session.
