The UFC icon Conor McGregor certainly has an interest in showing up at other noteworthy events. Whether it’s the Monaco Grand Prix or an appearance at the BKFC, there is no shortage of incidents that reveal McGregor’s outgoing persona. Apart from sporting events, the Irishman has also appeared on a number of noted podcasts and has also caught up with YouTubers too.

He also has caught up with the noted British YouTuber-boxer KSI previously, where the two enjoyed some lighthearted moments. However, the two got into a bit of an altercation prior to the canceled boxing bout between KSI and McGregor’s jiu-jitsu instructor Dillon Danis. But, the relationship between the two took a rocky turn recently when McGregor openly mocked the British YouTuber-boxer.

Staying true to his outgoing persona, McGregor also appeared in the recent boxing showdown between the famed boxers Anthony Joshua and Robert Helenius in London. ‘Mystic Mac’ also congratulated Joshua on his KO victory against Helenius and also praised the latter’s show of heart as he stepped into the bout as a last-minute replacement.

However, ‘The Notorious’ turned his attention to the famed YouTuber-boxer after congratulating the two combatants. Along with a severe tone of insult, McGregor also called out KSI for a bout. He said, “I know your man KSI is in the crowd, yeah? And he couldn’t box eggs if he worked in an egg boxing factory. So if he wants to get in here, I’ll give him a fight at bare-knuckle, if he wants.”

Although things have probably severed between the two currently, they once had a friendly relationship between them. But things started to heat up quickly after KSI made a remark after the 35-year-old’s loss against Dustin Poirier at UFC 257.

McGregor probably didn’t take KSI’s “lost the fire in his eyes” comments pretty well. But as already mentioned, back in the day McGregor had also joined KSI on one of his videos where the two enjoyed the EA Sports UFC 2 game.

The meetup between the two celebrities happened in the year 2016. At that time, McGregor was yet to face the noted former UFC Lightweight champ, Eddie Alvarez. McGregor played the game with his own EA Sports character while KSI controlled Eddie Alvarez in the game.

McGregor, with his own character, knocked out Alvarez in the game. He also started getting easy with it after scoring his second knockout playing as himself. ‘Mystic Mac’ also gave out his take on KSI’s iconic laugh, stating, “That’s the maddest laugh I’ve heard in my life, mate.”

Well, some fans might still be wondering how fast the severity of relations can change in the world of combat sports. One of the two individuals, who had such a friendly meetup in 2016, is now looking to beat up the other, that too with his bare knuckles.
