Francis Ngannou has a momentous boxing match coming his way. Ngannou is all set to go for the biggest bout of his entire combat sports career. The Cameroonian-French fighter would lock horns against boxing legend Tyson Fury.

Their boxing match is scheduled for October 28 in Saudi Arabia. The match is an official affair, and the result will be added to the professional records of ‘The Gypsy King’ and ‘The Predator’. Ngannou has gained attention for his lucrative offer post-UFC, and he has shared an intriguing detail about their bout.

In a recent interview, he revealed that winning the match is way too important for him as it leads to a rematch. However, there is no clarity on what would happen if ‘The Gypsy King’ wins the bout. The uncertainty of the situation put ‘The Predator’ in a fix.

Francis Ngannou reveals the real deal

Francis Ngannou was talking with MMA Hour’s Ariel Helwani. During the conversation, he revealed the “rematch clause” that comes with the deal. He also reinforced how important it is for him to win the bout against Tyson Fury. ‘The Predator’ said, “Yeah, there’s a potential rematch clause. I don’t know exactly how to explain that language, but yes, there is a rematch inside it. For (if I win), definitely. (If he beats me), that’s what I don’t know. We will see how it goes. That’s why I have to win this fight. I have to do everything to get that rematch.

According to YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul, Ngannou would earn a whopping $10 million for their initial match. The amount might go up if he manages to achieve a glorious victory against Fury. A single boxing match against Fury paved the way for Ngannou to earn a huge sum, which is way more than what he received from his UFC fights. On top of that, a rematch can earn him unimaginable money. The rematch clause has put Ngannou in a dire situation, as he has to win the match to earn it.

‘The Predator’s upcoming MMA fight in the PFL

Francis Ngannou left the UFC after several failed negotiations with the UFC president, Dana White. This disappointed UFC fans, as they were eagerly waiting for a showdown between him and Jon Jones. The bout never came to fruition, as Ngannou left before Jones returned after a 3 year hiatus. Only to Later join UFC’s rival promotion, PFL.

However, his deal with PFL allowed him to take boxing contracts outside the promotion. In the interview, Ngannou mentioned that after his bout against Fury, he would fight in the PFL in February or March. If a rematch happens between Fury and Ngannou, it would only take place after his debut bout in his current MMA promotion.
