Conor McGregor recently took to X and slammed Ryan Garcia and Sean O’Malley, after Garcia tested positive for banned substances following his victory over Devin Haney. Just like he has done many times before, ‘The Notorious’ took down this tweet. However, the fans were quick enough to get the screenshot saved.

Haney, following McGregor’s rant, went on IG and shared a response to his story. Needless to say, the boxer stood with the Irishman’s rage and showed his support for a spar against Garcia and O’Malley.

Haney shared a screenshot of the former UFC double champion’s words on X, and shared it on IG Story. Showing his stance, ‘The Dream’ added a handshake emoji along with McGregor’s social media handle, thereby shaking hands to support the mixed martial artist. ‘The Notorious’ wrote, “Cheated the weight and was juiced, lifetime ban.” Undeniably, Haney seemed to agree that ‘KingRy’ should get a lifetime ban.

Before agreeing to McGregor’s demands, Haney came out and slammed his former opponent. While talking to ESPN, ‘The Dream’ opined that Garcia not only cheated with the PEDs but also disrespected the fans and boxing by “fighting dirty and breaking positive.” He further added that people have died in the sport, thereby stating that it was no “joking matter.” Nevertheless, McGregor, in his now-deleted tweet, commended Haney for the tough fight he gave Garcia, despite the victor being positive for Ostarine.

Ostarine is a selective androgen receptor modulator that can enhance one’s physical performance. The scary part is just like other PEDs, overuse of Ostarine can cause various serious side effects. Surprisingly, O’Malley was also guilty of using Ostarine and was previously suspended for 6 months, for using the same. No doubt, Garcia is under scrutiny owing to the accusation. But there was a time when the ‘Mystic Mac’ showed his support for the boxer.

‘KingRy’ faced a major setback when he faced Gervonta Davis. Garcia had to come down a weight class and stick to a weight clause that prevented him from hydrating more than 10 lbs. Weakened by the clause, Garcia was knocked out in the seventh round. Regardless, McGregor showed his softer side and tried to lift the young boxer. In fact, there were a lot of other fighters who chimed in with McGregor.

“He is 1-0 on you. You both are the two biggest names in the division. I want to see it again, I want to see it again now. And I want to see it with no rehydration clause… Mate, all the respect in the world to you. You are the future,” the MMA fighter said.
